Coolant loss from radiator but not overflow bottle...
Jeep Cherokee (XJ) was losing coolant from the radiator but the coolant bottle was always staying full. Could not find any leaks and used oil analysis showed no coolant in the oil. Read online that this was generally an indication of a faulty radiator cap, so I ordered this Mopar version to replace the Stant one I had on my CSF radiator. Once replaced all coolant loss stopped, Jeep runs a solid 210 F as expected.Good price and works.

Many junk caps online and in parts stores now, worth the extra cost for a critical part to be higher quality.

I'm not really sure if I need to write a review for this. This is just a standard radiator cap, matches the one that came with my vehicle completely. Showed up on time, works just fine.

It doesn't hold the pressure so I had to order the mopar cap
It looks like an identical one however once you place it there is a small gap between the gasket and the radiator neck edge so it won't fit perfectly and that is why i had to buy the mopar one for my XJ Jeep '1993
