ALL SYNERGY PRODUCTS ARE GREAT! TEA TREE OIL WORKS FOR PARASITES
My family and animals have been hit with major parasite infection from mountain wild creatures where we live. I have tried all kinds of things natural and otherwise to no avail. I remembered I had used this brand before with the parasite formula which had coal tar in it and I could not believe how soft it made the dogs fur. Never had their fur been so soft even with conditioners. We have toy poodles and their fur can sometimes feel a little dry. Here is what we did: I have researched for hours and hours on what to use to get rid of these things. Tea Tree Oil came up by scientists as the best thing to kill some parasites. So, I ordered this shampoo and a conditioner but the conditioner did not make it here in time so had to use human Paul Mitchell conditioner on them. ($$$) After that I used the leave in Paul Mitchell body conditioner. This stuff is fantastic! Without conditioner their hair was not as soft with this shampoo because Tea Tree oil is naturally a little drying. You will probably want to use a conditioner with this. Preferably a tea tree conditioner as well. We warmed the bathroom washed all of them in the tub. We let this set on their fur for 10-15 minutes and then rinsed it. It got rid of so many things and stopped their itching immediately. They were happy again and not depressed. This should be repeated every few days or so to catch the egg cycles but I did not do that. i am now going to use a Lime and Sulfur dip I got on Amazon and dip them all. That should take care of the parasite problem. i am also giving them antibiotics "fish flex" I got on Amazon. 10 mg per 1 lb of weight two times a day. I also give them the human Wormwood formula for parasites in their food by Kroeger, also on Amazon. It is very inexpensive. I just open one capsule per dog and mix it with their food. it is working!!! I just can't believe it. I had to take this in my own hands as we lost one of our precious little poodles who was 7 years old to this due to secondary infections parasites caused. They get in their gums their ears, their eyes and cause respiratory infections. My vet did not diagnose it accurately and he lingered for 2 weeks in agony.I am not recommending you bypass your vet but be aware of parasites and the possibility of them as your Vet may miss them. I recommend this shampoo for parasites and all the Synergy products. They are high quality items. I have researched them as well.

Great for an itchy German Shepherd.
We purchased this shampoo for our GSD who suffers from environmental allergies and also tends to get dry and itchy during the winter months. We used this for the first time the other day and I’m pretty pleased. Very sudsy and easy to lather up. A little goes a long way, unlike others I’ve used that require way more than expected. The scent is very mild, but you do get a hint of tea tree oil, nothing overwhelming and it does fade after a day. His coat is nice and fluffy, super shiny and his itching has decreased. I won’t say this is a miracle cure for an itchy dog, but it will decrease the irritation significantly. I’ll be shampooing him again in a few weeks and we’ll update afterwards. I have high hopes for this shampoo and the price is fantastic.

Works well.
Lathers up well and doesn't seem to cause any irritation. I use this and then their flea and tick.

Oh, why did I ever switch?
We had a bottle of this stuff that I picked up somewhere... Lasted us forever. (2-3 years) when we finally ran out, I didn't see it anywhere local, but I figured that dog shampoo was dog shampoo. Picked up some of the Hartz stuff. My dog (a Cairn Terrier) kept me up nights chewing on his butt. Picked up another brand of "Oatmeal" shampoo from Petco... No change. Got the expensive blue "Anti-Itch" shampoo with all of the vetrinary logos on it. My dog wound up with sore red hot spots from scratching and chewing. So, 6 months and 3 bottles of shampoo ranging from $10 to $20 a bottle, and I went out in search of this shampoo again. Boy do I feel like a friggen' idiot. It's relatively inexpensive here, and I could have saved a ton of money, frustration, and pain for my little guy by getting the right stuff from the get go. Plus, with all of the other shampoos, I was amazed at how much I had to use to get a decent lather. The Hartz stuff took almost 1/4 of a bottle per wash when one bottle of this lasted ~2 years of bathing my dog bi-weekly. (As I'm typing that I'm thinking... That can't be right? But it is. Ok, bi-weekly to monthly maybe? Whenever he started to smell.)Also, the chewing led to him stinking that much faster, so he got bathed more often. Rinse, lather, repeat. Now he's needed a bath once a week, and it's making his skin even drier, and the problem keeps magnifying.Nothing else will ever be used on my dog. Washed him with this the day it came in and he was already quieter on the scratching and chewing front. Great shampoo.
