Worked perfectly while refreshing a BMW X5 E53
We used these coils during an annual refresh on one of our fleet BMW X5 E53. We normally stick with OEM coils; however, the OEM coils were not available at the time. We ordered these and according to my logs, that X5 has just over 17k miles on the new coils with no reported issues.

Very good for the money so far
Being a part time BMW tech, I can vouch that these work very well with a couple of minor quality flaws that are easily remedied. They worked perfectly once installed and hopefully continue to work well for quite some time.First, the bolt holes are the correct size but the spacing between them is a bit off. You will need a drill and drill bit to either open the holes up a bit or to completely drill the small brass inserts completely out. To drill them out, you only need to drill the top off of one side of the insert and remove the whole thing.Second, the metal plug clamp is a bit off but works. The top of the slot that holds the plug in place isn't quite as wide as it needs to be but you can simply push down on the clips and the slots will expand and hold the plug in place. While these take a few extra moments during installation, it is still worth the savings over "better quality" ones, especially if you have a V8 like me.

Worth it.
I put these in a 01 E38 740i, before you flame me for putting these in my car why are you here reading this comment haha. Anyways they worked fine for me. Car ended up getting totaled by drunk driver. So I guess you can say the ignition coils outlasted the car haha.

2003 X5 4.4
Decent quality...make sure that you inspect each coil...one was missing the contact spring inside the boot...they worked well getting rid of misfires

Yes, they fit fine. Just a little tight.
Tight fit made installation a little difficult, but it fixed my misfire for a very good price. Very happy with this set.

So Far so Good
I bought these coils for a 1999 BMW e39 540i. I’ve only had them installed about a month, but have driven about 2,000 miles on them so far including two long road trips. They were an exact replacement for my car. These really smoothed out a rough idle and helped performance as well. Not wanting to spend $500 on the oem Bosch coils I took a chance on these. I would have gone with oem if the car weren’t so old. I will update my review if these fail at some point.
