Etimo Crochet Hook, Size 10/6.00mm

I've owned a complete set of Tulip Etimo crochet hooks for several years. It was the best crochet investment I've made and worth every cent. So naturally, my dogs have chosen them as (expensive) chew toys. I needed to replace two of them, but only found the 6mm/US J in the newer red and pink colors.I ordered one of each to see what was different and now I finally know! It's the metal color and the polymer in the handles. Both the red and the pink handles have a "stickier" grip than the gray. The pink has a silvery metal throat and the red throat is red-toned. While the Pink's silver throat is still shiny, the Red's red metal does not create the glare that most owners of the gray ones complained about. So more grip, less glare. And that's it! Mystery solved.And between the two, I'm keeping the red one...and all my other grays because I can live with the glare, but I can't afford to replace the entire set!

Oh I get it now, I’ll never use another brand hook lol. They are so smooth and seriaouky feel great to work with.

These are the best crochet hooks I have ever used. They work especially well with 100% cotton yarn, the glide thru the yarn. I also really like the padded grip.

Tulip hooks are always great quality! I love the color of this hook and it’s easy to see when using darker yarn. Glides along the yarn like cutting butter. The size is as it should be. Very easy to crochet with and would highly recommend Tulip Etimo hooks to any crocheter.

I’ve bought several Tulip Etimo red crochet hooks to try and they are the best hooks I’ve ever used. I can crochet for an hour or two without fatigue or pain they are so comfortable to hold. They go thru yarn like it’s butter and there is no drag. They are expensive but so worth the money.

I love this hook! I love any Tulip hooks! They glide so easy and are so comfortable making crocheting easier. I've recommended this hook to my friends and they purchased it and love it too!
