Lafeber’s Bird pellets
My Red Lored was hatched in 1985 and has eaten Lafeber’s his entire life. He has never been to the vet for any illness until this week when I took him because he has a little inflammation around one eye. Because of his advanced age, the vet suggested we do bloodwork to get a baseline on his overall health. His blood work came back extremely healthy. His vet then suggested we purchase some Lafebers Senior Bird Nutriberries as a supplement, which we did. Our bird loves those, too. Lafeber’s has kept our bird healthy for 40 years.

Green Cheek Conure and Jenday Approved
My GCC and Jenday Conure absolutely love these pellets. My product came in and smelled very fresh. Iv never had any problem with any of their products as I am a strong fan of there Nutriberri line of treats (pssst! "Absolute bird crack!"). Bag came in . Lasts a very long while with these two knuckle heads. Which is great considering birds are known to be messy eaters. Here's my only snag with the product.. its first ingredient is Corn and for most organic pellet enthusiasts they want no fillers, and most cheaper company's use corn in their products as a cheap filler. I have used Tops organic pellets for a while because they are cold pressed and more healthier, but also a little bit more expensive.. So, generally its a toss up when purchasing pellets for birds. I like this product but if Lafeber's can make a cold pressed pellet without corn , count me in on buying it in bulk.

Less waste than other parrot food.
Not much of a smell. Pellets are the right size for my parrot. Last a long time.

My very picky amazon parrot eats it well.
My amazon parrot is very picky about her pellets. She won't eat the natural color pellets that I have bought for her in other brands and she won't eat the green and red pellets in the colored pellets. So most of the other expensive pellets I have bought for her are wasted. I was afraid she might not eat the Lafever natural pellets, but I had to give it a try. I am so pleased that she eats them just fine along with her veggies and nuts. they are expensive, but worth it.
