Most expensive filter I have ever purchased
I guess it is a good filter. Tractor still runs. I doubt Massey would endorse a bad filter. But good grief... $30 bucks for a friggin oil filter? I couldn't find any compatible filters on the interweb so I purchased this one out of frustration. Does anyone out there have an alternate part number so we can save some Benjamins?"But you should protect your expensive tractor and only buy OEM because it's the best and don't buy a tractor if you can't afford to maintain it... blah blah blah." I have used aftermarket oil filters on my more expensive, sensitive stuff for decades with zero issues.
