This thing is sweet!! <3
**Update 08/16/2017: This bubble level is pretty freaking sweet. I'll be honest, I thought it was going to be a little too small and that it was going to be difficult to pick up. Anyway, fast forward to the range, and my worries were put to rest; it picks up light really well, even when you're in a shaded area. I took this sucker out to 800 yards (farthest distance at my local range), and I did a little testing. I tried shooting without using the bubble and only going off of vision, and voila... 2/5 shots on target. Put the bubble level into play, and increase that to 5/5 with almost no effort. Safe to say this level "saves you ammo," thus saving you money. I highly recommend it to any shooter who is in need of a decent, quality bubble level for their rig.I'll be one of the many people to say that this ring was a pain in the buttocks to install. Not to get it on the scope tube itself, but rather tighten it down and have it stay level; the top of the ring (the bubble) tends to shift as you tighten the screw. I'm assuming this is due to it being a single piece design and the screw is "pulling" the top half down. The ring itself is VERY thin and made of aluminum, so you do risk breaking it if you choose to remove it and place it on another scope. That being said, I see this being more of a "set it and forget it" level; once you install it, leave it. However, thanks to Vortex's VIP warranty, they should replace it without hesitation should it end up breaking.Installation:What I found worked well for me was rotating the ring so that the bubble is about 1/2 way over the first left line. Tighten down screw and watch the bubble shift towards the center; make slow adjustments, if needed, by slightly loosening the screw and rotating the ring just a tad, tighten down the ring, repeat until perfect.Tip: nowhere in the package did it state what to torque it down to, so I had to do a little digging on the web. It's recommended that you torque it down between 8-10 in/lb.The bubble, though small, is fairly easy to see just by opening your left eye, and vice versa if you're a left-handed shooter.I just got it today, I have not yet had a chance to put it to use, but once I take it out to the range, I will update this review.

Great product
This is a very good product from Vortex but I returned mine as I preferred to use a different Vortex bubble level that I thought has a stronger mounting bracket. I own several Vortex products now and I've never been disappointed. I think this is a great product but I just had a different preference, no fault of Vortex. This does have a very low profile which may be desirable for some shooters. It also has a very clean look when mounted on a scope, so I believe it deserves a good look before turning it down.

Excellent distance shooting tool, good quality
Just installed the low pro version, haven't used it yet. I don't get the complaining about the installation- yes you have to slightly cant it so that when the screw pulls tight it stays level, but it's not that hard.I put medium strength loctite on it and cinched it up in less than 60 seconds.Be advised, if you have an illuminated scope, typically the switch is to the left of the scope as you sit behind the scope. With the bubble on the left side you cannot see the bubble with one eye closed - you have to use both eyes to see the bubble while attempting to level the scope. It looks like some scopes without reticle illumination you could get away without having to open both eyes to see the bubble (I.e. Your eye relief with just the one eye could see the bubble and the reticle). With the illumination on the left and bubble on the left it will take two eyes. That doesn't bother me but something I realized after mounting. In this situation, one could put the bubble on the right but I still don't think you see it as well as you do on the left, even with the illumination knob in the way.I think for what it is, it is overpriced but Vortex has lifetime warranty and engineers quality parts in my experience. I am a big Vortex fan overall (happy customer, not an employee or related to one). This review is for the light and sleek version (low profile), the other one is more bulky and not as sleek.

Good Quality, Royal Pain to Install
Vortex always makes good quality gear so no surprise that this level is great. I will say that the installation was a major pain. So much so that I almost gave up and switched my scope rings/mount to an option where the level installs to the mount or the top of a scope ring instead. I will 100% go that route in the future to relieve the stress of installation. There are also some tools out there that supposedly help install this type of level. I would buy one of those if you are set on this type of level. Again, quality is great like all Vortex gear. Installation can be brutal.

Much needed when precision shooting
If your stacking tacks at long distances you’ll understand the importance of a completely level rifle and assuming your reading reviews your probably considering the benefits already. I don’t need to waste your time explaining the quality of Vortex products but what I will say is the fit, finish and function are phenomenal that come highly recommended and this bubble level is no exception. It is very slim and low profile and blends in with your optic yet remains very functional when your sending lead down range, you will not be disappointed.
