After catching 7 mice in live traps and letting them loose (as my wife wanted) I gave up. Either I had a huge infestation or they were just finding their way back in. So I bought these instead of going to an exterminator. I've seen these things at storage places but never knew what they were. These work perfectly, just as they should. So far so good.

I do not like having poison bait that could be accessed by non-target animals or pets. I use the (MUCH) larger rat-size stations and like them. Frankly, these are MUCH smaller than I expected but that's on me (mostly). They seem to work OK and the price was attractive.It would be so much more reassuring if Amazon and its Sellers would include some well-known item in the photos. It would help me not to be so suspicious of ALL Sellers.

I bought these because we have a substantial mouse problem but I needed traps that would be sage for my crawling toddler and two bulldogs. Website states "durable ABS plastic. Tamper-resistant mouse bait boxes easily opened but lock makes them children, kid and dog, cat pet safe trap." After baiting and strategically placing the traps along walls where I could see mouse dropping, we left the home for a quick errand only come home to discover that our older bulldog had chewed one open and the younger one had made major chew dents in his. These are not "durable" or a "dog safe trap."

Although these traps are for mice and other small rodents, I have not managed to catch a single mouse in them. I'm hoping that the bait has done it's job. Still finding the rodents running around.
