LED lamps have improved a lot over the past years so it's a good idea to get a newer model.This lamp is very typical of the makes available. There is almost nothing in it! Very light, very insubstantial. With very long life LEDs this is designed to be a throwaway product. It is most likely the inbuilt transformer will fail first but only time will tell on how long it lasts.The light doesn't look out of place in an average bathroom or kitchen and gives a bright, warm light. I replaced an older LED light and this one uses 10W less yet gives about the same light. It's slightly warmer too, which is nice. Bear in mind, though, that LED's change colour over time and the light will get more "daylight" as the years go by.Fitting is simple. Remove the plastic lens and there are three holes in the baseplate for screws. The base of the lamp is fitted with a foam seal which is more suited to smooth ceilings. The hole for the cable entry is about 9cm from the centre of the lamp. It's not ideal, it would be better if it was dead in the centre. Also the lamp is clearly not designed for UK cables. The hole is a little small for a pair of lighting cables and there is no provision for three cables. It's better to carefully carve a larger hole in the ceiling and fit a four way terminal block to the cables then a separate short length of cable to the light.Anyway, cheap but very effective. Well worth the money.

Good size and brightness, no flicker LED. Shallow depth and lightweight makes it perfect for our caravan walk in wardrobe.

I bought this to replace a hideous fluorescent light in my kitchen that came with the house. I only wish I had known more about LED lights. I saw that there were several available from 12 to 24 watts Being used to having to put 100 watts in my ceiling fixtures, I go the 24 watts hoping that would be bright enough....Well. . it's like having the Sun in my kitchen! :D Just a tech too bright. I wish I'd just gotten the 12-watt fixture which I am going to do for my hallways and bedrooms. Nice looking, and gives a lot of light in the kitchen....just don't stare at it :D!

Arrived promptly. Easy enough to install. I'm impressed with the light output It is not harsh but it is does each every corner.

Difficult to review - it is brighter than i expected - you could see that as a good thing, but I have a small room and I was replacing a 28W fluorescent light. This is as bright.It is not as warm as I expected. It isn't blue - I'd have said it is more like 4000-4500k. Other 3K warm lights are more yellow.It feels very flimsy on handling the translucent cover - but once installed I think that is fine.

Found it difficult initially to separate the two parts but a little spray polish helped. The item is very light and the instructions clear. I Installed fairly quickly considering I am in my late 70’s.😁I used the light in my porch hanging from the ceiling and it gives a really clear bright light. Very pleased with it and the price is extremely reasonable.
