Years ago I reading an audio magazine that said putting silly puddy under bookshelf speakers improved the sound. I followed this advice and it worked. When I saw these advertised I purchased them and replaced the silly puddy with these pads.These pads work better than the puddy and make the speakers reach their full potential. They absorb any vibrations and you get the natural speaker sound. Put one pad under each corner of the book shelf speaker on the shelf...4 pads per speaker. In my opinion it is a 50 dollar improvement in sound.Keep in mind so many factors affect the sound from the speakers. The type speakers themselves. The room they are in. The source of the music or movies. Other audio components. But these pads absorb the vibrations and will improve the final result.

They really help the audio quality. I use under my sound bar and it noticeably reduces the loss of bass to my tv stand. Not too tall, not too expensive, all around a great purchase to get the most out of your equipment. Would highly recommend

Good material, and good size.

These were perfect for my sound bar. The bass sounds better and the music feels like it's at ear level again. Great purchase.

For full disclosure, I used these pads with a Yamaha SR-B20A soundbar. I tried arranging the pads in a few different configurations but could not find a setup that was physically stable -- the pads lack "grip" and slid too much. Cleaning around the soundbar was an issue as well -- every time I lifted the soundbar off the pads, they would scatter and I'd have to rearrange them. These pads do absorb some low-frequency vibration but not all of it; I could put my hands on the furniture surfaces and feel vibrations in sync with the built-in subwoofers. Ultimately, I mounted the soundbar with a USX Universal Soundbar Mount -- this created a cleaner, stable setup but I did have to lower the subwoofer volume a few notches.
