Handles better than my later quadcore Android tablet with half the RAM...
Really happy. This iPad Pro 9.7 inch came in good time, already set up ready to go. Battry seems pretty good, certainly for an 8 year old refurbished tablet.I got it for a chance to work with an Apple Pencil, which obviously requires a requisit iPad: even refurbished newer models are still a few hundred of hundred quid - so finding a model around the £100-£120 mark is a bit of a punt but, it turns out, well worth it.My unit's pristinely well looked after, not a scratch on it , obviously well looked after and - despite being 8 years or so old and only having 2Gb of RAM it more than holds its own against the much newer quad core Android tablet I'm currently using. The iPad seems to handle large format art files with no difficulty, internal storage is a generous 128 Gb which is plenty of room for both the art apps I'm using, Procreate, afinity Design Studio 2, etc...Time will tell how productive I can actually be using it, but - like I say - for experimental purposes a reconditioned iPad like this in conjuction with the requisit stylus - this iPad will only work with a 1st Generation Apple Pencil, cheaper knock-offs won't work on it full stop - but as an overall package I've paid less than I have for a Windows Tablet Monitor I've been using extensively these past few years and the iPad is much, much more flexible and mobile, you can stow it in a bag and be out the door with it and (with an appropriate matt finish "paper" feel screen protector it becomes a good, tough little thing that's a pleasure to work with. The only disadvantage with an older iPad like this is things like Adobe Fresco aren't going to work on it - you currently need iOS 17+ and the iPad Pro 9.7-inch only goes up to around 16.10, something like that - which is vexing but I can live without Adobe.Camera and all that is a generous12 mpx rear and 5 front, handles HDR and 4k video - like I say, despite being 8 years old or so it handles better than my later quadcore Android tablet in pretty much every respect, no slouching on Apples part when it comes to the hardware. All in, a good buy - I'm happy with both the iPad and the price. Now, if only I's stop reading iPad (5th generation) 9.7-inch as some form of nom de plume for an iPad Pro 9.7-inch - I'd stop buying the wrong things that are supposed to go with the iPad Pro and wondering why they don't work...

Amazing for university work
Acts like brand new, doesn’t come in original box but I am highly satisfied with its performance. Easy to set up and use (even if you haven’t used an apple product before). Light weight so makes my commute into university a lot easier and the battery lasts me a whole day at university (which my laptop didn’t). Would recommend!!

Renewed iPads and mobile phones are certainly value for money
I purchased this renewed iPad Pro for my husband when his ancient iPad Air stopped working. He was slightly sceptical to say the least! It duly arrived the next day and even he could not find any marks or slight scratches anywhere on his new ‘toy’!It is in excellent condition and works perfectly and at £319 it’s a bargain.

Great product ruined by poor battery!
The iPad is great but is let down by terrible battery life. This is the third iPad I have owned, the last one is still going strong after seven years of use. This one however shuts down on 40% battery. When I plug it in to charge it shows 0% charge. This makes it almost unusable at times and I find myself going back to my old reliable iPad mini. I've tried to manage the situation by shutting down apps and using low-battery mode but it's a real nuisance.
