Best portable charger
Lost my first charger on a trip. Was the best portable charger I’ve ever owned. I’m glad I was able to buy the same one on Amazon. Works great, fast charging and compact.

One of the best portable usbc batteries
If you want a great 20W battery, this is the one to beat, its super light and works great. No issues with it, its smaller and lighter then my other 10k batteries and works great. If you want high wattage look elsewhere but this one is fantastic for lightweight and pretty quick charging. I've used it with my steamdeck, phone, computer and others, although its small/slow for my high draw devices such as the steamdeck and laptop, but it gives you a little boost if you need it.

Slim, powerful but questionably designed and fails to meet my needs.
I bought this unit to use as a semi-permanent power bank for USB powered piece of musical gear. When I connected a USB cable to the NITECORE, the indicator lights lit up. I thought that was odd - because I didn't hit (what appears to be) the power button.Turns out the button isn't for power - it's for 'Slow Charging Mode'. Inserting a USB-A cable turns on the NITECORE power bank. I decided to leave the piece of equipment turned off but plugged in via a USB-A cable to the NOTECORE and see what would happen.Overnight I see the indicator lights have dropped from 3 to 2. I expect that the NITECORE would be drained before today is over. That's with the connected device turned off.To use the physical insertion of a cable into the NITECORE as the means to power on the battery pack is... certainly a design choice. A questionable one, I'd say. This is made more confusing by the button featuring the common icon for 'power' really being what they call a 'mode' switch. As of this writing I am not sure if I'll keep the unit. Unfortunately I threw out the packing material, figuring it would work as expected.

Lightweight and small size!!
I saw this charger on a hiking video. I was looking for a lightweight charger as a emergency backup charge for my iPhone. The unit is extremely light and has a small thin profile! I was able to charge my iPhone 3 times, however only to about 85% on the last charge. This was the claim made by the product review so I was pleased! Also mentioned in the product review as a negative was the led battery read-out. It is true that 3 lights only gives you a 33.33% charge indication, but I didn’t find this as much of an issue as I thought. You just have to keep track when you get down to the last bar and know there’s only a partial recharge left. If you charge multiple items, learn how much power they consume so you’re not left on empty! The last led does flash when it’s almost empty so get to a recharging station! The other negative I found is that if you take this hiking, the ports on the charger are not covered so dirt and water may get inside! I easily resolved this by putting in a plastic snack baggie. Other than that, it’s a great multi use light weight charger!

Super compact and lightweight. Carbon fiber isn't 100% durable read details in review.
Super compact and ridiculously lightweight. Highly pocketable for portability. Carbon fiber cover is just a sheet layer in this particular version. Be aware if researching as nitecore has "unibody" carbon fiber versions, though likely still subject to potential damage considering carbon fiber is light weight but not technically as durable against dings.First the positives. This 10k power bank is so damn compact and lightweight that I felt like all my other power banks for outdated dinosaurs. Unlike the new version nitecore has listed this has USB C and A port if you have devices that still utilize it, so you're not stuck with duel USB C ports only. The size is just shy of 5 inches length wise and the other dimensions are small enough to be irrelevant unless you have very specific applications and needs. For me, I needed to mount this via double sided tape and that made me realize the one big down side of this power bank's carbon fiber construction. You can NOT and I repeat, you should NOT attempt to use double sided adhesive to secure this power bank to anything. I found this out hard way and partly due to my own lack of scrutiny of this product against other versions and "generation" of similar devices. Once adhesive is attached and if one tries to readjust or remove, it will tear the entire carbon shell off the power bank. Those carbon fiber outer appears to be just two layers slapped on and maybe secured via some other type of double sided adhesive to the actual frame of the power bank. I was in horror when the fiber layer cracked when trying to readjust the double sided tape I applied. Tried to remove the adhesive with extra caution but near impossible so the shell suffered additional scratches. Carbon fiber is prone to cracking when under stress, so if any sharp or pointed object makes contact it'll cause damage to the power bank's shell. This now made me think twice about purchasing this company's carbon fiber power bank products as I purchased two, and damaged both surfaces I'll be submitting a return on both.Originally opted for two 10k units instead of a single 20k but now I'm more aware of the different version builds nitecore has in their listing. I'll be picking up a single 20k power bank and will likely try to apply a layer of plexi glass to shield the carbon fiber surface. In photography world tripods made from carbon fiber highly coveted for its lightweight quality but known to be easily damaged if something knocks into or bangs into it. Same still applies here so if you have a specific need and have to prioritize weight, then this might be a good investment. Durability wise I'm sticking with my old power bank and taking a other chance with nitecores's uni-body version. Not sure how long it'll last without applying some protective surfaces to the carbon fiber. Maybe one of those anti scratch films made for smart phone screens.

Best for travel and EDC.
I bought the black one a few months ago and it is the perfect unit to carry while traveling. It's thin, making it compact, and very light. It's good for two people for day trips. We decided to go to Europe this year so we bought the NB2000 (20,000 mah version) and upon receiving, its noticeably heavier. We we tested it during a short weekend getaway, we noticed that it had intermittent charging. It would stop after about 30 minutes. We returned it and decided to buy another NB10000, but this time in silver carbon. It helps differentiate the two that we now have. The two of them combined is still a tad lighter than one NB20000.
