Very substantial lock
This is a very heavy and substantial lock. The clasp has quite a wide diameter. It only goes though the bolt hole I’m using by removing the rubber waterproofing washer. But it’s no problem. If you want a heavy outdoor lock this fits the bill.

Looks Nice, But Totally Useless
I had such high hopes for this thing, I mean just look at it, it looks super beefy, little rubber flanges and cap over the key hole for “weatherproofness” but the truth is, it’s shockingly bad. I bought it to replace a master lock that had been well used on our gates for over 5 years, after a month of using this thing, wrestling with it daily, I have finally had enough and ordered a straight replacement for our trusty master lock.Top faults:- The key doesn’t go in.- When you finally get the key in it doesn’t turn.- It’s a 1 in 6 chance when you close it together that it actually stays locked together, you literally have to jiggle it round to find the sweet spot to lock.I’m really disappointed in this I genuinely think this is the first 1 star review I have given anything in my life, but yeah, it is that bad.

Broken after 11 months
I have installed the padlock to lock my shed at the end of January 2023. A few weeks ago (beginning of November 2023), after I opened the shed, I was not able to clese it again as the lock was not working properly. I am not sure about the causes as the lock case still looks intact and sealed but eventually it stopped working.
