Great value!
Great! Especially for the price.Had these for a year and the connection from the ear to the over the head part broke. But that's because I threw them in a rage fit I think, they still work, just harder to put on. Ordered another when that happened. My only thing I can say is I wish they could get a little louder, but I'm sure if you know more about computers that can be fixed. Max volume is great but a tad louder would be great.

Despite coming from china, it's better quality than $400 GameStop headphones.
I have purchased over 15 different headphones since getting the Xbox 360 and all xbox consoles since then. All of them were expensive and all were plastic and broke eventually because the plastic couldn't keep up with normal every day gaming wear and tear. THIS HEADSET IS MADE OF METAL SO IT'S A LEAGUE ABOVE THE REST ON AMAZON. The headset has metal arms and the head piece is also metal with very nice cushioning for the ear cups and for the head piece too. IT IS FAR HEAVIER THAN TRADITIONAL AMERICAN PLASTIC GAME STOP HEADSETS. You can tell you have quality when you hold this monster in your hands. I'm no pussy so I'm not complaining about the weight, I'm just trying to give you all the info you need to make a good choice. I've tested this headset on my xbox controllers and my Apple Laptop and even for iPhone video calls and it works AMAZINGLY. No issues whatsoever. AT ALL. The metal construction makes it the king above all my previous headsets. I've spent over $800 at GameStop over the past 15 years on headsets alone and all of them were plastic crap that broke eventually. The plastic isn't suitable for long life. This is made of metal which is one of its greatest selling points. I intentionally spent 3 hours on amazon, Etsy and Walmart looking for metal headsets PRECISELY because I'm SICK AND TIRED OF SPENDING MONEY ON PLASTIC HEADSETS THAT WON'T LAST. I have learned the hard way it's better to buy once and never again. I confidently aspire to be using this headset for the rest of my life and never have to buy another one ever again. I hope to never have to shop for headsets again. I hope this is my final headset purchase. Do yourself a favor dude and buy yourself a metal headset like this or better. Do not purchase anything LESS than this headset like a plastic one. Don't get plastic. Get metal. Ideally aluminum because aluminum is rust proof but I don't care right now. I'm just glad it's metal.Last but not least, my previous 15 headsets didn't hold up because I'm the most heavy duty customer you could use to test headsets. If a headset can survive me, you know you have a quality product, WHY? Because I do construction and landscaping in real life. THAT'S HARD WORK. HELLISH work. I also listen to music while rock climbing which is a heavy duty sport. I also hit the gym with this headset too. I'm NOT gentle. I'm aggressive.Buy once instead of buying every few weeks or months. No. Buy once and never again.I also advise purchasing an adapter cable so you can connect it to your iPhone port for phone calls or USB C adapter for Samsung phones or Laptops. You're all set. Also, the Microphone is much better than GameStop trash headsets. This microphone is so good it reminds me of microphones you'd see on $300 headsets. Very high quality microphone. There's my honest review. I'll be buying one again for. my father as a gift and again for my wife as a gift and for my children too. We all play video games and listen to music. All of us. So I'm sure it's a perfect utilitarian gift that'll be useful to them. A useful gift is the best gift in my opinion. Have a good day people. Adios.

*Updated review, a year later* Great value for the range it gives you!
*Update, a year later*TLDR; If on PC, out the box may need a DAC and installing an equalizer APO to really open up the range of these headphones. Construction holds up alright, but after a year one hinge has broken. Fortunately, I can kind of just put it back in the hole and make it work.I bought this headset around a year ago. Initially, I was disappointed to find that the audio was frankly terrible. It sounded like I was listening to music through cardboard. I was going to return it but quite frankly, I didn't want to wait to return it and spend more time finding a different affordable headset. Instead, I figured that I'd make do and try to make it work, typically within my nature. I bought a SoundBlaster Play 3 DAC, hooked everything up and.. wow. It opened up the range quite a bit.--SOUND--There is a LOT of range in these headphones. Go to the bottom of my review for the complete frequency specification as listed on the box it came with (I couldn't find it on the listing at the time of buying it). It naturally places emphasis on mids, but that can be finetuned down. Frequency response is advertised as low as 20hz, but I'm actually able to control frequencies in the 10Hz range. I can make the bass as punchy and rumbly as I need to and bring out the crispness of a stack cymbal. Not even going to lie, just plugging it into a USB DAC like SoundBlaster Play! 3 was good enough. These headphones are very good for people on PC willing to fiddle a little with audio settings. I'm not an audiophile, I understand that music is mix/mastered differently across genres but I'm able to get just about what I want out of these headphones. I listen to genres across the spectrum - jazz, classical, progressive / extreme metal, country, rap, punk. These headphones can definitely accommodate my taste range.--CONSTRUCTION--Good, sturdy construction. The metal frame headband is what I was looking for in affordable Over The Ear headphones since my old headset band was plastic and snapped. My only issue after a year is my left rear hinge broke out of the socket. Not a big problem the way it broke, because whenever it pops back out of the hole I just kinda put it back in and the tension keeps it in there. The ear pads are comfortable! I don't get that ear-wear fatigue with these things. They're snug on my head and don't sag.--MIC--The mic works well, seems to pick up my voice relatively well even positioned away from my face. Recording through Audacity, I didn't hear much if at all any background noise despite my office being directly under my heating system.--CONCLUSION--These things are powerhouses for <$30. Obviously, you can pay more to get more range and likely have a normal setup and listening experience. To be fair, I'm a little cheap so naturally I just try to make do with what I have - and I definitely did with these. If you're like me, not a complete audiophile but somewhat concerned with trying to have the best listening experience, then these will do wonderfully fine. Really. I'm almost considering not even going through the effort of using the warranty to potentially take care of the broken hinge because their performance is good enough that I'd overlook what is quite frankly a minimal issue anyways. If it completely breaks, I spend another $30 instead of $200 and I know what to expect! Really great value for the performance it gives you. If these are pretty good themselves, I'm interested in trying their SG600 Pro at some point. Thanks Senzer for a really good priced headset :)Specs for those interested, since I didn't seem to find them in the listing:Impedance: 21ohms +/- 15%Sensitivity: 110 +/- 3dBFreq Range: 20Hz - 20KHzPhase: L/R Phase CongruencyInput: 20mW (Max: 50mW)Mic (uni-directional):Freq: 100Hz-10kHz)Signal-noise ratio: ≥58dB at 1KHz
