I've used this bag daily on campus for 2 years now. I love the color, feel, and storage capacity. It can comfortably fit my Macbook Air, a charger, sundry cables, and files.This bag feels like a buy-it-once purchase. If anything, it will get more handsome with wear.It does take a few weeks to air out the smell of the chemicals used to tan or dye the leather.

I've had this in everyday use Since Jan. 2020.So... If you like easy, old, worn-in aesthetics (pbly why this bag is inyour sights)...then being a bit utilitarian with Safety on the Strap Should be easy. If you are about beauty-get something factory.As a violinist by profession - I spend significant attention & time making Sure Straps of all purposes are never going to fail me or my gear or case or bag or instrument. I have come to trust the Stretchy black physical therapy pre-cut strips of tape/medical supporting tape....to wrap around areas needing either reinforcemeat or (like this bag) something good to secure the end of the strap to the main body of the strap after it passes through the buckle. After wrapping & securing Strap to strap or buckle orientation you can sew a few stitches into the edges so the fabric tape stays put later & doesn't slide when adhesive gets older. Not really noticable but peace of mind. I kep my bag heavy. I am had on all possesions. This has never been proven to fail. & is in style with the bag...

Worth it. Read a lot of reviews for this bag plus others. Although this one was ify on reviews with high return rate, it ultimately fit the look, size, and price I wanted. It does have a smell- but it isn’t terrible. Smells worse when opened. It’s a horse/leather mix smell. I pick up on it but haven’t had anyone comment negatively about it. If fits a standard size clipboard plus my purse necessitiesIt’s not the feel of high end leather. It does have some variation colors in it like leather does.

Nice bag. Smells weird. Stains clothes. Hopefully with time the issues will resolve themselves.

Bag came three days after ordering. Bag smells like leather, canvas, and glue. No funky smells like past reciews noted.Leather appears to be decent quality, if a bit stiff. There are some minor natural blemishes (probably bug bite scars). The hardware has a bronze/weathered brass finish and looks nice.The 16" bag fits a 15.6"(14.5" width) laptop comfortably, but would be a tight squeeze for anything much wider. It has large, zippered pockets on the interior and exterior.

This bag looked perfect for my friend who is starting a new job. I was very excited when it arrived only to find that The bag stinks! It stinks bad! Really bad! The straps look like they were a second thought and the color seemed off. It was really stiff. But the Smell is what had me angry. It smells like cow poop like a farm of cow poop. I wouldn’t use it and I definitely can’t give it as a gift. I can’t wait to drop it off for a return. Whoever says it doesn’t smell must not have the sense of smell. I had a few leather coats chairs, cars with leather seats that smelled like leather. This smells like a farm and I graduated from a farm school so I know what a farm smells like. This bag stinks!

I like the size of this bag, not too big and not too small. It feels great. I also really appreciated the care in the packaging for shipping. Which arrived sooner than expected, that was a nice surprise.

1: packaging - So to start off the packaging is horrible, it was wrap in a clear wrap with a little bit of thin foam and i delivery sticker slapped on it. Im in an apartment so it wouldnt take much for someone to see something made from leather and snag it; Just he aware of that.Second issue with the packaging is all the silica packets were busted in the bag and it was a messy process getting it all out of the bag AND making sure everything was swept up from when i opened it cause i have cats and dont want them eating silica.2: smell - I read reviews on the smell, didn’t think it’d be that bad cause Im used to leather products. It’s not just a leather smell… this thing wreaks of a chemically glue smell and I can’t even sit next to my bag with the smell. I’m gonna try to clean it out but as of right now it wreaks.3: strap - the strap isn’t leather and is pretty cheap quality especially in contrast to the bag I wouldn’t mind this too much if it had an easy on/off system to put whatever strap you want on it, but it doesn’t. So whenever the strap falls apart and it definitely is going to, I can’t just swap the strap out without making or altering one.Tldr:I really don’t wanna even give this thing two stars, but considering the price point checks out, I’ll give it credit for what it does do right. The bag itself is good quality for the price and is correctly size, it fits my 12.9 inch tablet perfectly.So if you don’t mind altering the existing strap/planning on rigging a new strap, it sitting on your doorstep in clear packaging, and having to thoroughly clean out silica and the stink; it’s a good deal for such a low price if you don’t mind doing a bunch of extra work to make it good.
