Queen/Full/Full-XL Foam Mattress Vacuum Bag with Blue Zipper, Mattress Storage Bag

This bag was amazing. I did a lot of research, mainly to find one of the brands that seemed to having a thicker product. This did not disappoint as I able to vacuum a hybrid mattress with springs. Mind you it took about 20-30 minutes and three adults to sit on the mattress while the air was being drawn out but reduced down to about a three inch mattress. I was amazed because it was a twin xl extra thick style. So anyway, this saved me 200 bucks because I didn’t have to rent a van and was able to roll it up and put it in the trunk of my car. One thing to note was that I used Nite-iże 1x12 straps to keep mattress rolled securely and not the included straps. Very pleased this product especially since it appears that I could use it again.Unfortunately I did not take pictures…Another thing to note was that I used a shop vac, more specifically, the bucket top type which I didn’t think would work but worked like a charm.I highly recommend this purchase.

Bag is amazing. We have a Purple 4 and if you have one too, you know how freakin heaving and bulky/floppy it is. We used a shop vac to vacuum it and it worked perfectly. We aren’t able to roll it up like sushi but the fact that it’s stuck vac packed makes it actually possible to move. Plastic is thick enough to where it didn’t tear. Seal is great so no leakage either. I highly recommend this! Took about 35 min or so to fully seal enough to where we could move it.

Was worried that this wouldn't work after reading some reviews. Used this for a supersac lovesac (6 ft by 6 ft) without the cover on. The bag fit in the Cali King/King protector and a shop vac deflated it in under 10 minutes. (I had 2 adults help squish it down may not be a solo task but not impossible) this product is practically a oversized zip lock bag had double seams and seam clips to help seal it. Ensure it is SEALED before taking out the air to avoid issues. The straps are dirt cheap and would not use those for anything. Overall would buy this product again if I need to shrink a King Mattress or lovesac again. (Use rope or ratchet straps to help keep it tied down)

Did it get the job done? Technically. Did it lose the seal? Totally. Luckily the straps held it together, but it's definitely a one and done purchase. If you're okay with knowing that it's only going to be good for the one time, then get it. It saved a ton of space in the truck and made it easier to get down the stairs.

I purchased this because I needed to transport a mattress in a small vehicle. This worked perfectly!! Highly recommend!!

It did fit, barely, over a fairly deep (8"? 10"?) XL Twin foam mattress. Probably a regular length Twin would be a bit easier to deal with.The Dyson vacuum cleaner I started to use was going to overheat and burn out, so I gave up on that. Eventually I made a fitting to connect a laboratory vacuum pump, which worked to get it initially compressed to several inches thick, but still far too stiff to roll.After leaving it like a large board for a few days, it had compressed on its own a bit more and become a bit flexible, so I hooked up the vacuum pump again, which made it yet thinner. I was prepared to simply store it under another bed, flat.However, over another day, it became yet thinner, about an inch, and was at least curvable. After waiting another day, it was easier to curl. Finally, I was able to roll it and store it. I have no idea if the mattress is now permanently over-compressed and will never expand to be usable again, but since it was shipped rolled up and compressed, I imagine it will expand again when we need to use it.I don't think this would have been possible with just a vacuum cleaner.Even if you aren't able to get your mattress flattened to rollability, it should protect against humidity and bugs, and the plastic seemed reasonably sturdy. Keep it away from knives and cat claws, though. A single hole will let air in, and it'll expand wherever it is.

Helped with moving out of form and to store

Does not actually hold air. This is definitely a case of I should have read the reviews more carefully before buying. But I assumed that since we were only trying to zip a three inch memory foam mattress topper that it would work even better than it was supposed to work on a regular twin mattress. It did not. We followed all of the directions And before it was even fully vacuumed we heard an air leak. My second clue that this was a bad idea, was in the directions that said if you hear an air leak to use 'sticky tape'. I shouldn't have to seal and already faulty product that I paid money for. In the ad, it shows you can shrink a normal size twin mattress to a most paper thin , but don't be fooled. We zipped it up two days ago and I can still hear it expanding even though it's strapped up. It was a useless purchase. The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is because it is probably successfully keeping dust off of the topper.
