Great Product. I recently had a support strap fail on a my parent's designer wood and leather mid century modern chair. I decided to replace all the straps with this product. The width and weave of the new jute strap is very similar and the quality his high having very little give - so I'm hoping it will last a long time before stretching out. I used a staple gun to attach the straps (I folded each end over to avoid unraveling) and then placed cardboard stripping (that I purchased on Amazon) over it and stapled that down as well. Over that is an upholstered cover that got tacked down so the staples and fabric were completely hidden. Hopefully I won't have to replace it again - if I can keep the kids from throwing themselves into the chair! But if I do there is a ton on the roll - enough to fix the straps several times over again but I'm hoping I won't need too.

I used this to reupholster a chair. It saved me a ton of money doing it myself. Good strong quality.

Great material, as described

Unfortunately the fabric store closed, so grateful I could find what I needed. The price was good and the item was exactly what I needed.

I had a hand-made 17-foot-long rag rug that was far too long for any normal application. After a bit of searching I found this product, wide enough to fold to provide adequate edge coverage. I now have 3, 5'8" area rugs. I cut and bound all before a cool/cold wash cycle. Even laying flat to dry, there is obvious shrinkage to the new binding. It's not a huge issue, but I'd hoped for a neater conclusion.

If you need good quality and sturdy construction material to repair vintage furniture (my dining room Thomasville chairs) will do the job. Be sure to purchase extra upholstery tacks to replace old tacks. Make new holes with new tacks.
