Beautiful, well-made, classic woman's design from Citizen
I've been trying to find a match for a watch my wife had years ago that roughly looked like this one. The Citizen is not only MUCH nicer than what she had (pretty sure it was a Timex), but it's really beautiful in person.I think the price is fair for the level of quality that's evident in this piece. I've had several Citizens over the last 20+ years and this is one brand that seems to have kept up their expectation of quality. It's a more delicate looking watch in person than the pictures convey. My wife has very small wrists and most watches either look and feel bulky for her or they're so dainty that they're almost impossible to read. The face is small on this one but it reads clearly. The jeweled blue can pick up reflections, but a quick turn of the wrist gets around that. All in all, if this is your style and you're looking for something functional but with a delicate appearance, you can't go wrong with this Citizen.

Love it so much that I bought it twice
I bought this watch a couple of years ago and then, sadly, I recently lost it. After looking everywhere for it, I decided to replace it with another Citizen Eco-Drive watch. I initially bought a different style with the same technology, but it didn't look as nice as the other one. (I really didn't want to buy the same watch, because I was sure that as soon as I bought the replacement, I would find the first one and would have two identical watches. However, I have not yet found it.) I returned it and bought the same one I had before. I have gone back to wearing it daily. The blue face is beautiful, the metal has a lovely tone, and it keeps perfect time. I have never loved a watch more. I was worried when I initially bought it that it would need to be under a light all the time in order to keep the battery properly charged. I have no idea how it manages, but I have never made any effort to put it under light. And I live in Seattle, often wear long sleeves, and keep it in a dark closet when I'm not using it. The Citizen web site states that it can hold a charge for months at a time. While the watch is more expensive than many others of this variety, it is completely worth it to not have to change a battery, ever. And it looks nicer than other similar watches I have had in the past (Guess, Fossil). Do know that you'll likely need to take it to a jewelry/watch repair to have links removed so it will fit your wrist. I watched a number of YouTube videos on how to remove links and had all of the right tools, but could not do so confidently. I think I paid $15 to get the links taken out. A small price for the peace of mind that I would not destroy my beautiful, new watch.Edit: Of course, I found the original watch a few months later - in a pocket of something I rarely wear. I gave the other one to my best friend and she now wears it every day and loves it as well.

Citzen EcoDrive watches are the best!
Great quality, comfortable, looks good. Keeps time perfectly without a battery. There are many nice styles to choose from. This is my third EcoDrive watch and I have really enjoyed the first two I bought. Reliable and a good value for the money.

Good value but note mineral crystal
I purchased this as a gift. It is an attractive watch and a good value. The primary motivation was the perpetual solar-powered energy supply.I failed to notice the watch has a mineral crystal, as opposed to a sapphire crystal. Normally, I prefer the later for much greater resistance to scratches. The product listing never claimed sapphire -- I just failed to deep-dive the specifications.

Best watch I've owned
Purchased this watch 8 years ago and it's still going strong, no issues, very stylish, never had problems with it being charged but I always leave it "sitting out" in the room when I'm not wearing rather than put it in a drawer or jewelry box so that it is always receiving light to stay charged. I have aquatic animals and my hands are in the tanks constantly, including saltwater, for water changes, feeding, etc., and have never had any problems. I just make sure I wash with soap and water and let it dry completely so it's not sitting in water. Will forever be a Citizen Eco Drive watch wearer now.

Love this watch
My first Citizen Eco watch lasted 10 years, then I bought one in February which lasted about 5 weeks, it just died. And of course right after the return period! This one is really pretty! I have had it for 2 month now and it still looks good and runs good, so hopefully this will last me another 9 years. :)I love not having to worry about a battery! I also always get a rash/itch where the batteries sit in watches, so there must be something I am allergic to. Since this one doesn't have a batterie - NO rash/itch. It's been holding up well with me swimming in the pool, but I do try to remember to take it off when I can. I also have extremely small wrists and this watch looks really elegant on it. I always have a hard time finding a watch that is small enough to fit my wrist and not look like a boulder on it. :)

Nice everyday watch
Citizen Eco-Drive watches are great in that they don't need battery replacements--this is the second one I've bought for this very reason. This watch is a great everyday watch in that it's sturdy and comfortable to wear. The hands are easy to read but the date is not as it's quite small. A magnified date area would be a great boost--guess you've got to be Rolex to do that, though. I do recommend this watch to those of us who still depend on an actual timepiece to keep us on schedule.

Do your wrist a favor and get this watch!
This is a beautiful watch, classic styling with the very tangible benefit of never having to replace the battery. I love how it looks and how it performs. I store it face-up in a glass-topped jewelry box and it has stayed exactly on the correct time.
