I bought the VL-81 LED Video Light, and it’s been amazing for both my photos and videos. The color accuracy is spot on (CRI95+), and I love that you can adjust the color temperature from warm to cool (3200K-5600K) depending on what look you want. It’s super easy to use and gives you a nice, even light, especially with the included softbox, which helps avoid harsh shadows.The rechargeable battery lasts a long time, so I don’t have to worry about it dying mid-shoot. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Adjustable brightness, quick charging, comes with charging cord but not a block. Uses USB to USBC cord. Temperature change is very adjustable and very simple to use. Sturdy build and cold shoe fits nicely.

I was so nervous to buy but I took a chance and did. I received my package on the 2nd day as promised and I was not disappointed. This is the coolest light I’ve ever had. It will go perfect with my gimbal. This thing is super bright and the battery lasted 4 hours continued use. It’s the cheapest costing light but this thing puts out! I highly recommend and I will be back in a few days to post a video. So go buy it!

I am a forensic investigator and bought this as a backup for my travel kit. It is plastic, but so far has held up well. I like the dimability and spectrum, as well as the fact that it easily attaches to a tripod.

Quite handy for impromptu relatively close video use.Three cold shoes. The fixed base that fits a camera flash mount also has a 1/4-20 threaded insert for tripod use.Battery holds a good charge when stored. As my sessions have been short, I am unable to say how long the battery lasts when the light is on, but I have never used longer than one of four indicator lights. Other reviewers have noted hours of use. A short USB to USB C charging cable was included.

I’m not a professional photographer by any means. I did purchase an iPhone holder that this light can be attached to and it works WONDERS for indoor pictures. I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro Max which takes phenomenal outdoor photos in natural light but can struggle inside in low light. This light can be used with DSLR or camera accessories for phones. Just charge it and turn it on and get ready to take some great photos. If you’re looking to be a professional or just enjoy taking pictures like me I definitely recommend this accessory.
