Very strong, well made magnet. I'm very new to the mag fishing game and this set has been a lot of fun to use. Well made case, long durable rope and a very sharp and tough hook. Does exactly what I need it to do, just need to find better locations to use it at. Great gift for starters, and probably a great all around set to have in your car. Compact size makes it great for everyday use.

Just opened the kit and everything looks great! Haven't used it yet because I need to apply threadlocker and wait 24 hrs, but can't wait to give it a try. Everything in the kit looks like its very good quality and I like the extra knots and the heftiness of the carabiners. Well packed & protected for shipment, inside and outside the case. I'm glad I bought this magnet I did because it's heavier than I thought and I don't know that I could throw it out very far if it was any heavier. I think it must be a high quality magnet.

Easy to use, good quality, long and high quality rope. All you need is a little patients and a place to fish.

This turned out to be a surprisingly helpful purchase.... I have a long deep water pier and boat that always seems to need some kind of maintenance. Over the years, I've dopped a tool or two and always struggled to retrieve the item with a net, with varying degrees of success. I decided to give this a try.First off, its a very nicely manufactured item in a very nice storage box. The magnet itself is very well machined and finished. Its quality is excellent. It comes with a long nicely braided rope with attached carabiner (did I spell that right?). It also comes with a small bottled of thread-lock, gloves and a small grappling hook.And goodness, this magnet is strong. I do worry that if I ever inadvertently attached it to the side of a flat metal cabinet that I might not be able to get it off.The great news for me is that within a week after receiving the magnet it helped me retrieve a small flagpole and a tiny AC power connecting bracket that fell in the water. The cost saved (and more importantly, the time saved) more than paid for the magnet.

Works great. Lost some items off our dock from hurricane Helene. One was a 4” steel pipe 16’ long. Magnet found the pipe and we got it to shore. Would buy again. Made to contact a flat area. Any other shape the lift strength is cut down.

Comes in a nice hard plastic case. Everything comes as pictured. This should provide hours of fun exploring some local waterways. This was a gift and the recipient loved it!

We have had so much fun finding treasures with this. My kids love it. It’s really good quality, it’s easy to use. The rope is super long. I tested the weight capacity with a 25lb anchor and I was able to lift it without it falling off.

Watch the rocks as it can become lodged and difficult to get out
