Has surpassed expectations!
This WiFi mesh system has surpassed my expectations and has been working great for nearly 2 months with no issues! WiFi connection is great throughout the house with no dead zones. No WiFi outages at all! Haven’t had to touch these devices since initial set up! So easy to set up too! The app is great and I can see all devices that are connected, as well as devices that have been connected but are currently turned off. I know this system can handle up to 150 devices. I don’t have anywhere near this many but have quite a few and all are working great! I had no issues connecting older devices either, with the instructions provided. Very easy. Most of my devices require 2.4 G and this system a accommodates them all! Great transaction, fast shipping and great packaging to protect the devices! Well worth the money. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing and it paid off! Glad I went with this system! One of the reasons, too, was the potential to cover up to 7000 square feet, which was higher than other mesh systems in this price range. I have outdoor WiFi devices that are working great as well due to the great range! I live rurally and the distance I needed wasn’t a security issue but if you live in an area that’s more populated, just we’d to consider the range this covers. However, it’s password protected and with the app, if anyone does manage to connect to your WiFi somehow, you’ll be able to see an unfamiliar device in the device list. Highly recommend!

Amazing.
These work amazingly well. Our house is 2400 sq ft. The placement of the router is upstairs and in a closet. I can’t say we have dead zones without this, but there certainly are spots with really bad signal. Once i added these to my WiFi, the dead zones are gone. It was pretty easy to set up myself, although I did have to call my internet provider to ask them a technical question about my service. Everything is done through the app, which works well also.

Amazing Speed, Easy Setup and Nice looking.
So, a little background. I have had the same router for about 5 years, a nighthawk x6 r8000. My house is 4000 sq. ft a main floor and finished basement. I have always been happy with the router's performance and ability to get a signal to 95% of the house by having the router centrally located in the geographic middle of the house. There are a couple of dead spots in the basement and a weak signal in one of the rooms upstairs but all in all, a great router with impressive speeds. I have always resisted the use of signal repeaters but never really had to invest in any because the signal was always ok everywhere we wanted a signal in the house. About 25 devices connected from Iphones, laptops, PC's, android tablet, ipad and security cameras. The speed at the router from Cox cable was about 400mbps and maximum speed at a device clocked in at about 200mbps. The only draw back to this router is that it is ugly and looks like a giant tarantula on it's back. Wife hated having it in the living room.Got the deco router after much research and I have to say, it is impressive. The speed at the router came in at 950mbps and maximum speed at a connected device, a wired pc, came in at 550mbps. Handheld ipad, iphone are coming in at 400mbps at any location throughout the house. The three Decos are not ugly and there is no more upside down tarantula in the living room.Set up was easy as 1,2,3. No instruction to read, Download the Deco app, unplug your cable modem then plug in one of the Deco's and fire it up. When you open the app it guides through the set up which took literally 5 minutes, I kept the same network name and password and all devices connected without any issue with the exception of a couple of the iphones and ipads, but that was easy enough. All security cameras (4) including the driveway camera, doorbell camera, smart TV's (3) connected without any further attention on my part. This is first impressions and if there are any changes I will post them here in the future.

Easy to install. Extremely powerful. Highly recommended
Despite some delays in the shipping (I am a bit obsessed in checking the status once or twice a day)... it finally shipped (Amazon even gave me a $10 or $15 credit if i'm not mistaken, for the delay). Finally, it arrived - out of the box, plugged it into my main router via cat6 ethernet cable. downloaded the app.. did the easy config to connect it up... and *green light* my first deco was up.Went to the far bedroom (about 4 walls further). Connected my next deco. Added it on the same app (as it asks to connect "more deco's"... IMMEDIATELY "green light".Another 4 walls to the right, my office... same thing .. green lightWhat an easy config. I am technical myself - but i just loved the easy integration into my current environment. As for performance, I used an extension cable to monitor the app i installed on my iphone.. as i moved the deco around, it would tell me the signal strength to the mesh between the 3 areas on the house.Once i found the sweet spots - I decided i need wall mounts for these bad boys.Ordered those on amazon too (see through, 2x)In terms of what i had (which were Tp link POE access points)... the throughput has trippled.Did some speedtests (i am on a 200mb fibre link). getting 198MB up and down from the furthest place in my house. What i like is logging onto the app and seeing how the deco's connect to one another. It configures the "best connection" by itself. example: if my office deco finds it easier to connect to the far bedroom and then the deco to the router... it will apply that config... although, if it finds it better to connect to the router deco directly, then it does that too. Well done TP link... great simplification! AmazingAs new devices join, I get notified on my app. What i also tested (as i do numerous zoom calls daily for my work) is walking around the house with my laptop. it hops from deco to deco without interruption. My property is around 300square meters (3229,17 square foot) with thick concrete double volume. Walls are brick based between every room/corner of the house.I have over 19 devices in the house connected to my deco's.Majority connect on 5Ghz... some (such as TV's) on 2.4Ghz.3x iphones, 2x ipads, 2x macbooks, 1x imac, 1x asus rog GM501GS (my laptop), 3x Samsung 8K TV's, 1x synology NAS and some smart devices scattered through the houseThroughput used to get on TPLink POE's (before deco) = 60mb+/-Current (with deco) = 198mb +/-Highly recommended... what a great product.. finally, no more "disconnects" & "slow downloads"
