Great Collection of MI Series
This single package provides the Blu-rays for the first five installments of the Mission:Impossible series. All of the movies are produced with the highest quality video and audio available at the time (starting with 5.1 and for the last one upgrading the TrueHD). Of particular note, the first few discs have an odd navigation of the commentary track, which seems to get stuck unless you unselect it by choosing Chinese subtitles. Just weird design and execution. Offsetting that is the fact that each disc has its own spindle to clamp onto, and when stacked, they are separated by plastic forms, so each is fully protected and unlikely to come loose and roll around. You also get the digital download versions, but those are currently restricted to only iTunes (AppleTV) or Fandango. As for the movies, I had previously seen only one of them, so it was great to see them in sequential order, and I am now left wondering whether I should see all of the most recent iterations: MI 6-8. In terms of character arcs, it was pretty clear through layers of make-up and hair dye that Tom Cruise was aging by the 5th movie (Rogue Nation), so it would be great to see how he is dealing with that process (like Indiana Jones). The other story arc that seems to be buried is his wife, who was killed but secretly survived. In the meantime, we get relationships that are growing and evolving except for this one.If you're buying this set, it's probably for the action sequences, which are there of course. Yes, my palms were sweating, and people have a fear of heights should consider watching something else because yes, the stunts bring absolute fear. The extras on four of the discs provide lots of information about how they filmed the stunts, and they show Tom Cruise actually doing most of them, including the terrifying ones. Note that the third movie does not include any extras; indeed, that disc is labeled "Disc 1" as apparently this movie originally shipped on two discs and the second one containing extras is omitted.Overall, it's a great collection, and I paid less than $4 for each one. Movie tickets cost a lot more than that, so this set is a great value, especially for someone who has not yet seen most of the movies.

good collection MIF
Beats paying streaming pay walls, on and off charges as they move to paying for the movie instead of part of your bundles

Exciting Movies
I had not watched any of the Mission Impossible movies before but after watching the first on TV last month, I knew I must have the DVD's. I am very happy with the set of five Blue-ray DVD's and the price. I have watched all 5 of the DVD's and they are great, no problem, good clarity. The action is so fantastic that I am looking forward to viewing them again to catch what I missed. Very pleased.

Can’t stop Cruise! Movie magic here especially #4 & 5
Honestly, the only disappointing thing about this set is that movie discs 4 + 5 are in a boring all blue color. Why put the latest Mission Impossible movies in that blue color for the discs when the first 3 have nice printing all over them? Is it cheaper to print that way? Is it marketing? Can’t be marketing. It’s gotta be cost-saving features. The first 3 movie discs are easily distinguishable too, while 4 & 5 discs are harder to read since they look generic and the same.Anyway…enjoy the movies!!!
