I was very unsure of this at first. I thought it would be a waste of money because the reviews were a lot of mixed feelings. However, in my experience (I'm 12 years old) it's a really good board! I bought it with my own money and I don't regret it. Is it good for flips and tricks? Probably not but I'm just a beginner not looking to do all of that stuff. It's great for just riding around the block and I definitely recommend for a beginner!Edit: Ok it's been a couple months later and I don't really use this board anymore. Like I said in the top part or this review, this skateboard is only for beginners. And this board is the reason why I know how to skate. So I am NOT bashing it. However now that I know how to skate, I find this board slow and boring. I think I'm going to buy a more sophisticated one even if it means more money because I want to start skating again but this board just isn't cuttin it.

We got this for our scooter-loving 4-year old as the next step in skill building. But this wasn't our first try. That was a small 22" $20 board that was highly rated an Amazon, but turned out to be completely useless, i.e. it couldn't even lean into a turn! This board behaves like a real board should, pivoting, rolling smoothly and is big and sturdy enough to grow along with my son for at least a couple years. While the description claim to support 220 lbs, I can feel it bending more than I'd like at my 200 lbs, so it's definitely not for a full size adult. But it's great for a small rider. A couple of older/bigger skaters who who've tried it seemed very happy with it, too. As for the flashing lights, that's just a gimmick. The rider can't see them at all, and even the observer can hardly notice. They are there, and they work, but who cares, you don't get a skateboard for the lights.

This is very cute and my daughter road smoothly. very nice quality honestly. She was able to stay stable ridding compared to the other one she had and the bearings were not lose like the others she has had

I bought this for my kid who was interested to upgrade his skateboard. This came in good packaging and on time delivery. The board size was good, but one thing which was off was the wheels were not properly aligned and the board appeared to have some bent. I have to fix the wheel alignment initially and appeared to be fine. Upon using it for a while the problem came back again.Apart from above issue, everything else is fine. The wheels are sturdy, and the board design is very attractive. Kids would love it. The cost probably is slightly higher.

My 8 year old has been asking for a skateboard since summer and received this for Christmas. Thankfully the roads were clear of snow Christmas Day because he spent hours learning to skateboard. He has since tried to bring it inside to learn.This is a great skateboard for beginners, both young and old. It is very intuitive to just climb on and go.Apparently height matters? If so, my son is 4’ 9” and I am 5’ 6”. We were both on it for a while, and neither of us have any experience on a skateboard prior. My son has not fallen off yet (1 month later), and we have a lot of hills and even snow on the ground. As long as the road is clear, he is on it.As a side note: I would strongly recommend purchasing safety gear to go along with this. (Elbow, knee, wrist, and head). It is well worth the investment. ;-)
