LEER Twist Handle Kit 113436-100XQ, 700, 100XL & Latches 83514/83515

This was a super simple replacement for the locking system on my Leer bed cap. Took me about 30 minutes and required very few tools. If you are even remotely mechanically inclined you will find this to be a simple job. Works perfectly and is well made.

The product was easy to install even though it was a little different than the original. Works perfectly, did not need any instructions to figure out what was needed. Took about 15 minutes.

I went back and forth about buying the real LEER replacement part vs the China products for 1/3 the cost. But this was obviously the high quality you expect from an OEM part. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because it came a day late (not that big of a deal), and there was a washer that was bent. This is a washer that is meant to rest against the glass, so I didn't want to risk cracking the glass. I ended up using the old washer.

Simple installation. No instructions. Must be able to have a basic mechanical background to install without the use of YouTube.

Even without instructions, these parts were easy to install, and they fit my Leer 100XR truck cap perfectly.

There were no instructions, so when I was replacing the latch I had, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to re-use any of the pre existing hardware or not. Turns out you don't need any of the old stuff, it's been great being able to lock the back of my truck.

Good product, simple install, remove all existing hardware and is self explanatory in the install. No real directions required as this is more streamlined than older versions installed with the LEER canopy. This requires less hardware.
