Pleasantly surprised to receive these beautiful & more importantly super delicious poppy seed rolls! They arrived quickly, safely, packaged with care for freshness, moist, loaded with poppy seed filling and flavor! Seriously, as good if not better than homemade...didn't expect such goodness but Reisman's Bakery delivered! Not only were they packaged in a plastic container and on an aluminum tray, but they were also wrapped in a plastic bag to assure freshness. Worth mentioning that they were also a good size and excellent value! LOVED and will reorder! HIGHLY recommend you try this brand, great quality and value! Thanks. A+

Very good bread. Good amount of poppyseed filling. The dough could have been a tad sweeter but all in all tastes home made

Though it seemed to be well packaged, my poppyseed roll arrived mashed in the middle, hanging over its aluminium tray and thus not in a condition to put out on a festive platter for company, which was my purpose in buying it. Parts of it were impossible to slice and had to be scooped.The filling was good, with lots of sweet poppyseeds. But the roll portion wasn't the buttery European pastry I hoped for but a doughy, soft but not exceptional product that reflected the oils in its composition. I did serve some to my guests, one of whom was a food historian and cookbook author and she left most of hers on her plate.. we exchanged wistful stories of our grandmothers, hers Viennese and mine Hungarian, who made poppyseed strudel, stretching the dough out by hand at the kitchen table

My Grandparents came from an area in Europe (Austria Hungary) where Potica and Strudel were pretty much a staple. I learned as a teenager, how to make both of these well. I ordered this because they are also quite time-consuming to make. The product I recieved today, while nicely made was quite dry, and a bit too sweet which is why I gave it 4 stars. I recieved this winthin a couple of days, and it was well-packaged and otherwise well-made..
