I have 2 pair of the same boots, one dark brown and one black. One of the original brown cotton laces broke so I'd replace the laces on both pair to be proactive.I didn't want cotton again because they don't hold up over time. So, I found these polyester laces and decided to take a chance. Polyester doesn't stretch. Won't absorb water. And won't rot or shrink like cotton with exposure to water. The only thing I was worried about was the look. The original laces were a flat brown color. I wanted to keep the same look but I worried that polyester laces would be shiny.No worries. I got the laces yesterday and the dark brown was a near perfect match for the original factory laces. They are also a flat brown. No shine at all. The black laces are the same.I bought the single layer laces because I wanted to keep the original look and I'm happy with them. Basically indistinguishable from the factory laces. I think the double layer laces would have looked too fat.They seem to have enough friction to stay tied. But a double knot will keep any lace tied. Overall I'm happy with the product.

Actually perfect. Guess I got a bad sum of chuck 70’s, quality wasn’t there. My shoe laces ripped so early on owning the shoes, bought this and replaced it and wow. The color and quality of the laces is THERE. Made my shoe look new, especially side by side with the older one. Glad it came with a pair of laces so I changed the other and looks like I had a fresh pair of shoes. The size was perfect, even a bit long! I can pull these laces and tie with ease (my previous ones ripped while tying), so these are definitely durability and tough.

Fits my New Balance Wide shoes perfectly. I don't know why these shoe manufacturers put these really long 52-inch shoelaces on their shoes. They go on the floor, and I step on them, causing them to get undone and then I have a footlong shoelace hanging out of my shoe. Most inconvenient. These shoe companies need to provide shorter shoelaces. The shoelaces I now have fit well and I don't have this undone shoelace problem any more.

I put these on a pair of Nike Low. They were the correct length and size and were not overly Thick. Looks like the traditional lace that comes with a pair of Nike Lows. The only reason for a 4-star review is that they were delayed on delivery and came a day later. Not sure if this was a seller's issue or a driver's issue. Either way, the product is great for the money, and I would buy it again.

These laces are just what I was hoping for. They are made like laces that I used to have on my shoes years ago, not like those laces today that wear out quickly. They are strong and do not slip so that I do not have to retie them as other laces that I have had.

I had spent a lot of time recently, trying to find replacement shoelaces for my new balance sneakers. I needed a specific shade of gray and could not find it anywhere. I did not realize Amazon sold these so after checking, I found that they had exactly what I needed.The color was a perfect match to my current originals, and they also carry all the various lengths that are needed for sneakers.I would not hesitate to order these again from the same vendor since I see that they cover just about every color imaginable.

Ordered two pairs separately; violet and rose pink for my very black and white (drab) shoes to give them some color. You'd think laces don't matter but if you're constantly on your feet and moving around regularly: yes, it does. Really fine grip on knots and they stay knotted; think the first pair, the purple ones, came undone by themselves about about a month and a half. If anything, yeah, some of the weaving might pop out or fray after a few months of wear but the color stays bright and there's still plenty of tight wear on the material. Really nice quality for the price- would recommend and plan to purchase more as I get more shoes.
