It won't keep off the rain, but I've worn it regularly for a few months now. Its a good hat. I'll probably buy it again if the one I have ever gets destroyed.

This is a good quality hat for the money. We've looked everywhere locally trying to find my hubs a straw cowboy hat that didn't have the high top with no luck. I do wish they offered more than one size. In the pictures shown it had a size chart, but no option to choose a size. He's got a big head and would have done better with a L/XL option. The hat itself is well made and looks good. He'll just have to break it in good before he can use it for his normal everyday use.

This is my favorite hat. It has gotten beaten up in the pool, it has a few holes in it, and the more abuse it gets, the more my wife likes it. It won't last forever due to it's real natural straw construction and the fact that I frequently jump in the pool and get it wet, so I am ordering another replacement. Nothing else I have even comes close.

Bought for my husband for the beach. He loved it and looked great in it. I will be wearing it when he’s not. I love it too.

Came in a plastic bag for shipping, which meant that it was misshapen on delivery. I think it's supposed to have a worn in look, at least hopefully that's what explains the holes. It definitely is a shallow hat meaning expect the pinch and crease of the hat to actually rest on your head. If you're looking for a costume hat, it probably fits the bill - as an actual wearable hat, it definitely does not.
