The media could not be loaded. Staedtler is highly professional brand. This package was torn. Filthy disgusting. I yet made the swatch (video). I don’t see much of a difference between 4B 6B and 8B. Thus, they FEEL slightly smoother on the high end. The 4H 2H H and HB are so minimal in distinction. A gift for my ex as she has taken up drawing as a hobby. Pencils were of sufficient quality to please her and the overall contents were of similar quality.She was pleased with it and expressed her satisfaction in the entire process and package.I do not understand the algorithm used to determine the star rating. Perhaps someone might wish to amend the titles? Sheerness was not a quality I would consider when purchasing pencils, except for the actual usage and that is determined by application. And the "For Beginners" rating doesn't reflect well on the product. They are pencils. Did they work as such? Yes. Was the quality of the 'lead' within a professional standard of acceptance? From what I've seen of the art she completed to date using them, yes. Beyond that, I believe I would require a chemical assay and various other tests to determine anything else.In other words, this method of rating exemplifies silliness and job-justification. A billion dollar company that doesn't check...sheesh. How long will that last?
