I replace my 2x4 SODIMMs with these 2x8 SODIMMs. The process was very easy and was achieved without any problems. After the installation, the laptop booted, showing 16GB of RAM. I also installed a 500GB SSD. Now my laptop boots FAST and can run my video editing program with ease. The price, delivery, and operation make this RAM a great deal.Work Great so Far!!

Replace ram when over 65 percent for smoother computer that doesn't freeze
Works great so far. I needed ram because my computer was slow. my ram memory was at 70-90 percent at all times which made my computer freeze up often. Now my ram memory says 25 percent and the computer does not freeze up. I would suggest changing out ram when it gets over 65 percent so the computer runs smooth and doesn't freeze up.

Worked exactly as advertised.
Very happy with the improved performance. Had to find a you tube video to figure out how to install. That was mostly because the Dell I installed in eas not easy to work with.

One of two sticks of ram defective.
I received the RAM quickly, but 1 set of ram was defective. The company was great and replaced it with no problems. If not for having to send it back and get one replaced, it was a good buy. The trouble of taking the laptop apart, paying to mail the ram back, and reinstalling the replacement ram was the reason for 2 stars. The ram works great.
