I’m not wanting to usually write reviews, but I absolutely love these!! I didn’t want to damage my stairs, but I have three boys at my house- my youngest is learning how to go up and down the stairs. I really wanted a runner to give some padding and some traction. I was skeptical that they would stick really well but it’s been three months and they’re holding up great.I installed in less than 30 minutes. The easiest thing I found to do was to cut a piece of cardboard to go between the wall and where I wanted to try to start the tread to use as my guide the whole way up. I can’t believe how easy it was, how great it looks, and how inexpensive of an upgrade it was…. highly recommend!!!

selling our place and needed to upgrade the look of the stairs, should have done this years ago. Looks much nicer, feel good under foot. Only regret is not having done it years ago so we could have enjoyed the upgrade for more than a month before we move out.

UPDATE 12/31/2024: Box said LIGHT GRAY on top on small sticker, but said DARK GRAY ON THE SIDE on larger, label sticker. Only the little top label has a scannable bar code, so Amazon filled it reading the top sticker. However, it was the SIDE STICKER from the manufacturer that was correct, and the carpet pads were indeed DARK GRAY.ORIGINAL REVIEW: These are attractive, but finding the right color is not going well. The "woodgrain" appeared taupe online (I need a warm gray or taupe), so I tried that, but what cane was more orangey. I had been turn between Woodgrain and Lt gray, so I tried that next on the word of a review that said it was more taupe. Lt gray 28" had disappeared as an option so had to try the 31" light gray , but they sent DARK GRAY (and it says that right on the box). So I'm strike 2. There are only 2 light grays left but I'm afraid to order it and have over $600 worth of returns and nearly $1000 into these to find the right color. There is no way to contact the seller anymore, either - the pages just link to a circular that never landed anywhere to talk to the seller. And - Why on earth would they discontinue the trending light warm gray?! Demand for it will only increase as the pure grays continue to give way to warmer grays.Overall, pretty and the bullnose edge looks more upscale than a flat piece, but what good is it if I can't get a good color for a popular, transitional decor?

After a year these are still a great purchase.
