Very sturdy and versatile
I recently purchased the TONOR Adjustable Suspension Boom Scissor Microphone Arm Stand and I am very pleased with my purchase. The stand is well-constructed and feels very sturdy, with a solid metal construction that can support even heavier microphones. The adjustable suspension boom arm allows for easy positioning of the microphone, and the stand itself is also adjustable, making it easy to find the perfect height. The included pop filter is an added bonus and helps to reduce unwanted plosives. The stand is also easy to set up and take down, making it a great option for on-the-go recording or streaming.Overall, the TONOR Adjustable Suspension Boom Scissor Microphone Arm Stand is a great option for anyone in need of a sturdy and versatile microphone stand. It offers great value for the price and is a 5 star worthy product.

Tonor microphone suspension arm is a great buy!
You always know when a product is going to be good when you unpack the box - it's superbly encapsulated in a complex set of strong card compartments to keep everything safe during shipping. It's much sturdier than I expected - holds my Rode NT-USB microphone without sagging, no matter how extreme the stretch. the Rode weighs 520g, so it's no lightweight. It's rated up to 1,800g.The desk clamp looks good on the desk - it's not dissimilar to the base of the Rode PSA1 - and tensions extremely well - and it holds the lower peg of the arm well without it revolving unnecessarily.I really liked the black Velcro cable straps that very firmly tension the mic cable against the boom arms (I note that one reviewer criticized them for being grey - he had them inside out).Overall build quality is excellent (and amazing value for the price). My only criticism is that it is takes a while to fully tighten your mic into the microphone mount, as it swivels into the top of the arm. Would be great if Tonor could add a flat or thumb-wheel to the chrome swivel, to allow you to grip it. However, this is a minor point.A great arm, especially at this price.

Great buy if are price conscious but don't want to compromise too much on quality and function.
My use: Needed an external mic for my PC as my laptop does not have one built in. The desktop mic stand that came with my mic (Elgato Wave 3) was too short and restrictive, also too close to keyboard so kept picking up the sounds from keys when typing. I decided to buy a mic arm for better positioning, my first choice was initially the Rode PSA1 but hard to find in stock due to lock down and was pricey (>£75). I found this model (Toner T20) which had a lot of good reviews and seemed more reliable than the cheaper models (~£15-20) on amazon. The Good: The materials and build seem good quality and the arm rather secure and sturdy. Very easy to assemble following the provided instructions and looks good. There is a large range of motion so I can position my mic in many positions and it stays in place and can withstand a few knocks (although I wouldn't recommend it). The motion is also smooth and and steady, I read that some lower quality products can grind and are not pleasant to reposition. The listing states that this arm can accommodate heavier mics like the Blue Yeti (a highly popular mic that's reportedly a little on the heavier side). I use mine with Elgato Wave 3 (which requires an adapter to fit but that came included with my mic - so be aware if you buy second hand and do not have the adapter).Colour is a nice matte black which is very neutral and will go with any colour scheme of your set up (if that matters to you). The included pop filter is a nice extra and although my mic already has a built in pop filter, this can also act as a saliva guard to keep your mic hygienic. The clamp has a good sturdy grip to my desk so provides a stable foundation. There is also a rather neat cradle built in to the underside (under the desk) that you can use to hang your headset/headphones/whatever you like which is a really smart touch and I've made great use of, as my desk (see pics) is very space limited. The Bad: I suppose some of the hinges are a little stiff (although the trade off is that they are sturdy) so whilst horizontal plane is smooth and steady, vertical repositioning can be bit of a chore. My delivery did not include the velcro cable ties that's advertised on the website and I was otherwise very happy with the product and wanted to keep it so amazon kindly offered my credit as a good will gesture.Overall: Great mic boom arm if are price conscious but don't want to compromise too much on quality and function. Recommended.Note: £21.66 early Jan 2021, Sold by Micfonotech, Fuillfilled by Amazon.

Genuinely sturdy! Perfect for Rode NT1-A
Having a heavy recording mic like the Rode NT1-A, I spent many weeks in trying to browse through various boom arms and trying to guess which one could actually hold the weight of the mic without being a disaster. To be honest I was mentally prepared that whatever I buy will collapse one I mount my Rode on it with its shock mount…. But this one didn’t!Early review-1. Looks extremely good quality and finish. Strong and sturdy material. Very strong springs2. Took less than 5 min to assemble and mount, …..and then I got confused about where it will best suit my desk - so I could single handedly dissemble and re-attach the entire unit on the other end of my desk within another 5 minutes!3. Amazing steadiness- as you can see in the pictures- it didn’t budge despite me mounting my Rode NT1-A with its shock mount- so I got greedy and tried to test if it can take the Aokeo noise cancelling shield as well - and I am extremely impressed to see that this thing actually holds the ENTIRE UNIT so neatly4. Manoeuvrability- despite mounting the entire noise cancelling shield + NT1-A + shock mount and pop filter - this boom arm can ACTUALLY move the whole unit around in literally any direction and any angle I seek, which means my full unit is neatly tucked away when I am not recording, giving me full desk space, and in a few seconds I can bring it back into use by just rotating the entire setup towards me ! WowI wasn’t expecting such a sturdy setupI will repost another review after a few months of use to see how this thing lasts but for now I am terribly impressed.
