Great receiver, good price. No problems to install, sounds great.

Good Receiver
Everything about this receiver is very good, except the one thing I dontb like is I can not watch the TV with out the surround sound system. Some times I do not need it so it would be nice not to have the surround sound all day if the grandkids are here.

Low price but…
It’s quirky. The sound is fair & setup was easy. The biggest gripe I have is every time I turn it on Sony puts a pop up in the middle of the screen asking you what you want to do, tv, game etc. Every time and there is no way to disable this “feature”. Sony doesn’t care because this model is nearing its end of life and there are no recent firmware update and support is zero. I understand not supporting a legacy piece of equipment but the lack of support turns me off to Sony.

Very accessible receiver, does several devices
I like it a lot. A friends is mine who set it up says it doesn't have an AM connection so it cannot receive that signal which he listens to, lol it does other kinds of device your can imagine including Bluetooth so that it awesome! Very unassuming which I like a lot. Not a rich person, but it makes me feel like i am, a little he he.
