Easy and fun to build. Cute to look at
I grew up a fan of this kind of robot back when they didnât really have names. Iâm thinking of âGiant Robotâ era. Meanwhile, my sister was a fan of all things Sanrio. So, this mash-up of the two genres is a must-have for me. Iâve built a few gundam model kits, and while they are more posable, but I donât adore them as much as this.Plus, itâs so easy to build. As long as a child is old enough to not put the parts into their mouth, theyâll be old enough to build it.

The crossover we dreamed of
My daughter is a massive collector of all the Hello Kitty crossover toys. This was no exception. Once the kit was put together it was a decent size. The quality also shock me. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting with the price and with this was but it looked really good. She also had a lot of fun putting this together. The smell on her face was worth the price and more.

So freakin cute!!!!!
I love this. I want to buy the other ones now. This was so fun to put together and itâs so nice to look at. There are a lot of pieces involved in this set that are very small so keep that in mind if you need assistance in the assembly process. And the weight is very top heavy so they do fall over easily which makes some of the pieces fall off so just make sure you are careful in displaying it and keep it on a stable surface. Really not much to complain about in this product freakin adorable and hello kitty can hold an axe! Sadly none of the other weapons fit in her hand but oh well. If you live hello kitty and gundams or just assembling kits this is for you!

Cute, fun to build, a little wobbly
The box came in a dented up, so donât buy it from here if you just want something perfectly mint. When I opened it, a couple pieces were loose inside the bags; they were all there, just anther thing to note that itâs not mint. Also, the first picture is of the Hello Kitty Gundam fully built, and the second is the picture on the instructions. If you like REAL close, youâll notice that there are some things that are different; there are two yellow dots and several grays squares on the Gundam helmet in the instructions, but not the actual model. There are stickers you put on the parts, but the yellow dots and gray squares werenât in the kit or in the instructions- itâs just in the pictures of the manual.Same for the whiskers, they look black in the manual, but theyâre just indentations in real life. Also, in the instruction booklet, the sword is pink and white, and even has a page that lists the different colors of plastic, and it listed pink for the sword, but the sword I got was just white.I donât like the fact that I have to choose between a headless Hello Kitty and a Hello Kitty Gundam, a Hello Kitty and regular Gundam, or a freakishly tiny Gundam headed Hello Kitty (third picture- itâs pretty funny tho) and a Hello Kitty Gundam. I wouldâve liked a second Hello Kitty head so I could have the regular one next to the Gundam one, but not a big deal. Or, it also couldâve been fun to have the Gundam part just be an outfit to put on the regular Hello Kitty. When the model is put together, I found it didnât⊠like to stay together well. Itâll stand, it wonât fall apart, as long as I donât touch it. However, if I want to pose it, change out whatâs in its hands, or a lot of the time just pick it up, the arms of the Gundam especially, will move and maybe even pop off. That being said; I have never had any prior interest in Gundam anything. I am a Hello Kitty collector/fanatic, and I didnât even know they were things that you build, even though Iâm a major weeb. But that being said, this was fun to build, and is super cute! I already bought a couple other Hello Kitty Gundam sets (an orange one and a green one) that Iâm now looking forward to building! I think Iâll even look into the anime now.Iâve heard since buying this that Gundams can be very hard to build, but if thatâs the case, this is perfect for beginners. But after all thatâs said⊠the stickers are kind of a HUGE pain. This doesnât need tools, but I happened to already have a very teeny weeny Phillips head screwdriver and a pair of pliers, since I noticed I forgot to put things inside Kittyâs head before I put them together, and I needed to pry them apart - used the tiny screwdriver to wedge it open, the pliers to pry Kittyâs body open when I messed that up. I used the tiny screwdriver to help with the stickers, and BOY, I literally have no idea how you could place them as perfectly as they clearly want you to without it!

Cute Overload! đ»
I bought this as a gift for a friendâs daughter who loves Hello Kitty and she really enjoyed building it! No tools needed is a plus. đ·ââïžđ€ It is so cute, I might have to buy it again for myself! đ€©đ»UPDATE: I bought the standard Zaku II for myself and I love it! đ» Itâs a very quick build, but the quality and results are spectacular. An easy recommendation for novice and advanced builders. đ€©đ»

Hello Zaku!
Looks great snapped together right out of the box. For Hello Kitty: If you're concerned with seam lines, they are minimal overall and easily cleaned up. There are noticeable mold lines, but they were also easily sanded away. She is made up of around 15 pieces. The "base" is an apple shaped platform with no connectors, but she can stand or sit thanks to a sliding leg gimmick. There is a neck adapter to swap Kittys head to the Zaku body and you have to swap her bow over. The Zaku is great. It's a Zaku. It has a silver foil sticker that goes behind a clear pink plastic disc for the mono eye, and a full weapon load out. The bazooka pegs into the back skirt. It has some Gloss Injection molding. Zaku detail stickers included to make Zaku Apple! I have it built on the CS frame, so the proportions will be a little different.
