Great Quality And Fitting Leotard.
This is a very nice leotard. I tried cheaper generic ones too but this was by far the best, materials and quality. The front is lined which is necessary for a light pink leotard. My 9 year old is 4'7" 85#, wears size 12/L in street clothes. This is our first time taking dance classes and it took several tries to find something that fit. None of the children's size leotards fit, not even size 12-14. Even women's XS was too snug with no room for growth. After many tries, women's Small fit her best. This is a great leotard when you figure out the sizing!!!

Nice quality, but run small
My daughter has just turned 3, is 37" tall and weighs 32 lbs. She wears 3T clothing, so I bought the 2-4 size. She could barely get into it, it was a bit short through the torso.I'm not sure 4-6 would work, as the arms would probably be too long. But at this point, she'll be lucky to get a few months out of it (before I may find myself hemming up the sleeves on a 4-6).All in all, it is very nice. It seems comfortable, and she doesn't want to take it off. I'm glad, though, because it is a wrestling match to get her in and out for using the restroom.Would definitely buy again, but will assume that they run a bit smaller/shorter than I expected, and size up accordingly.

Lovely leotard, fits my 4.5 year olds great
I bought 2 of these for my 4.5 year old twins to take ballet and tap in during the winter. These fit great overall. My girls are both VERY slim but average height wise. I can't really imagine this fitting a 6 year old but they are perfect for my girls now. The body fits with a tiny bit of room to grow. The arms are a bit long but you can't tell at all once we pull their hands through. They look and feel really nice. The material has stayed in perfect condition through being washed (and hung dry). No pills or pulls or anything. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish from the front and back! I have similar tank style leotards in the same size which are MUCH bigger and were quite droopy on my girls but this fit just great.I also had an issue with one of the leotards having a small hole under the arm. It was clearly a manufacturer mistake as it was a very clean split right at the seam. Amazon was great about exchanging it and I've had no similar issues with the other original or the replacement.

Doesn't run small, measure girth and use measurement guide
I am so glad I ordered 2 sizes (4-6 and 6-8) and didn't just assume it runs small like other reviews said. It doesn't run small, it runs true to size for a leotard if you use the measurements. My daughter is a size 5-6 (6 mostly for length only, they are huge on her waist, she is tall and skinny) the size 4-6 fit her perfectly. Her girth was 42. I bought the next size up, since that has a girth of 43, just in case other reviews where right, and it was too big in her butt and under her arms and her shoulders. It had a "wing" of extra material under her arm and the butt area was loose (giving her a wedgie went she bent over) If you buy the size measured correctly, the butt stays in place.I like the material, it is nice and smooth, not rough like I remember my old leotards being. I wish it was more cotton, but this is nice and has a nice finished look. Her ballet class requires blue, and I couldn't find blue in any store near us, especially in long sleeved, without having to special order it. This was far cheaper and came faster. And I can return the too big one for free.

Great leotard!
I got a M(8-10) for my tall 6yo who is 4’2” and 54lbs. It fit her well, but if she was any shorter, it would have started to crease a bit. As everyone said, the sleeves are too long, needed about a 1” roll at the cuff.I got a S (4-6) for my 5yo who is 3’11” and 45lbs. It fit her well but stretched quite a bit on her. If she was 1” taller, I think that’d be the limit of a comfortable fit. And again, I rolled the sleeves up 1”.The quality is great, my girls loved how soft it was. The front is lined. And they both got red lipstick all over the sleeves which actually came out fully in the wash, with the help of my Tide pen (even though I took 3 days to attend to it lol)
