Boy, when they said "super strong", they weren't kidding. I bought these to make some custom mounts for my Google Nest cameras so I could attach them along with larger IR illuminators to my metal barn. Yes, the Nest cameras stick to metal, but I needed to achieve an angle of view that the camera and its mount found difficult. The magnets are beasts and hold well to the building. The media could not be loaded. Excellent magnets, they’re quite strong, be sure to watch your fingers for your safety. I used two of these magnets to hold a portable dust collection hose that’s about 20’ long and 3” diameter. Does just dandily. See video. Great value.My only complaint is a huge pet peeve, I ordered a 1/4-20 thread pitch which would typically take a 7/16” wrench to tighten the nuts… guess what they were… metric. Imagine my surprise and frustration when I got to the third floor of steps and found out that the 7/16” wrench I had with me, was NOT the correct size and had to waste a bunch of time and steps to go get a metric wrench from the shop, for something that was indeed threaded as 1/4-20. What an oxymoron to combine both SAE with Metric. Haha

I got these to mount a relay on my truck's valve cover. So strong I'm sure it will never come loose! They will work great to mount stuff to metal where you either don't want to drill or weld a bolt. Just be sure to test weight for your use case. I used the second one to put a screw driver rack on my tool chest.

The magnets are decently strong on a perfectly flat surface. If you like said surface, get the rubber coated version.

This baby doesn't let go! I had tested it out on my fridge and couldn't pull the magnet off. I had to slide it to the edge to remove it. Definitely a very strong magnet.

I used these magnets with the holes on my farm signs and put them on my tractor and trailers when their in use, and they work well, at lower speeds.

I bought this to mount a Blink Security Camera in the Weatherproof housing. The threads are the same and all I did was to cut down the threads on the magnet. I wanted it so I could remove it after I hitch up my utility trailer with a quad and generators on it. But I think the magnet is so strong that it wouldn’t fall off, it might slide around a bit on ruff roads. And with the camera being wireless I could move it around within the WiFi range.
