Just what we needed for 5 year old starting out!
Just what we needed for our 5.5 year old who was complaining about my beach volleyballs hurting her wrists when we would practice some bumping. The ball feels so light its amazing, and our daughter loves it, but we are using it mainly on the grass in back yard for practice. We avoid the driveway pavement and its not for game play. So I cannot speak for the ruggedness of it or how long it would last under more adverse use conditions. Either way its a great practice ball for smaller kids. I do not recommend that you allow them to use it as an alternate soccer ball which seems all the kids want to do.

Volleyball
It is a very good volleyball for beginners. It is very light and got a very smooth surface. My daughter enjoyed it very much. It is a very perfect for beginners. We will definitely buy it again.

Fun for kids
I bought this to use with my 3-year old and 7-year old. I'm a competitive volleyball player so I've been getting my kids into it too :) It was a pretty decent ball for my older kid, but my younger one thought it was still too hard. I guess I was expecting it to feel even more "lightweight" than it does, but it's still much better than a regular volleyball. It's fun to play with and I'm sure they'll get used to it!

Great beginner volleball
Middle School daughter starting volleyball. This is the lightest, easiest volleyball to start with. Think one step up from a birthday party balloon!
