KitchenAid Asteroid Mini Oven Mitt, 5.5"x8", Black

These are great oven mitts! Very soft and yet thick for safety. I like the compact size so they don’t take up a lot of room. They are very durable so far. Good size also, fits mine and my husband’s hands equally. I really like the grey color.

I purchased these KitchenAid oven mitts a few weeks ago, paying around $8. While I initially thought I was getting them on sale, that seems to be their regular price, which is perfectly fine by me!They perform exactly as you would expect good oven mitts to. They're thick enough to provide reliable heat protection when handling hot pans, baking sheets, and dishes straight from the oven or stovetop. The material feels durable, and the quilting seems like it will hold up well over time.There are no fancy bells and whistles, but they do the job effectively and safely, which is what truly matters. If you're looking for a dependable pair of oven mitts that won't break the bank, these are a solid choice.

Excellent quality, love the green color

The media could not be loaded. Ok,so I bake a lot and these mitts from Kitcehn aid make grabbing hot cookie sheets or skillets so easy/ safe. I do Not feel a thing even when I’m pulling stuff out of a 400°F oven. Plus, the silicone grip dotsthey give me a secure hold every single time.What I love even more is how versatile these are! Beyond the regular oven stuff, Ive used them to grab them to handle my hot curling iron when I’m in a rush, coz I know its handy and ir works! So I got 2 sets that way I keep one mitt near my stovetop and other key areas for quick grabs!In the past, the All-Clad ones I’ve tried, but these feel sturdier and the grip is way better. Though these are a relatively smaller, but work great for my hands. I easily wash them in the machine after every few weeks or after that pizza night and they come out clean as new.

Pretty solid oven mitts, they do what they were designed to do. I also appreciate that they are machine washable. That said, I have doubts about their heat resistance.You can still feel most of the heat on your hands through these mitts when you grab something. I don't know if it would be possible to burn your hands with them on if you held something for a long time, but the amount of heat you can feel doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. At least I personally don't find myself needing to hold hot surfaces for extended amounts of time, but if you need to then you might want to try something else.

I grabbed these on a 2 for $8 sale. They are thick and have good palm coverage as some of the other shorter styles do not. I used them daily since arrival without any issue. Great product!

I love the size of these mitts. They are very effective as well. I can tuck them out of sight with no trouble. Never did like a mitt that was so big that you had no place to store them.
