Good quality
Excellent quality insulation! Easy to cut and work with, and it handles high heat just as advertised. Used it for a forge project and it performed perfectly. Highly recommend for any high-temp application.

Great product holds heat for a long time and cuts easy.
Good product. I used it to make a mini kiln like Simon Leach made for bisque firing ceramic and it works very well. It is durable easy to cut and true to the dimensions stated. Holds heat very well. What I did not expect although it was not a big deal was it is impregnated with small silica beads that do fall out and get everywhere. I did not see that mentioned anywhere so just know that.

The media could not be loaded. I used the same piece of insulation for 2 years before I had to replace it. you can see in the video how well it insulates. no way I could hit the temps I hit without it

Perfect for those hot areas
Added insulation in my IR Sauna behind the heaters. Needed to have a product that was thermally suited for this but would also not off gas. This fit the bill, it’s a dense and thick product.

Perfect Solution
If you have seen the price on a replacement refractory base and it freaked you out then this product is for you. When we bought our house the propane fireplace had a broken refractory base with a few pieces missing entirely. When I saw the $600 price tag on a replacement I started to look for other options. This fulfilled my needs - has been cut and installed & now tested for multiple hours with my furnace running. Issue resolved at a reasonable price.

Easy to work with
I used this for a permanent install of a Disel heater I wrapped it around the exhaust and put inside a 3 inch double wall stove to exit an external wall it seems to really work well to keep the heat away from everything the product was easy to work with and has directions of all precautions to take when working with the product the mat quality seem to be decent and the durability made it easy to work with

Substantial thickness and helps to considerably quieten sounds.
Substantial insulation sheet…others were extremely thin.
