Product description This item is an Original Stereo Lp featuring Frank Sinatra titled: Frank Sinatra - Frank Sinatra's Greatest Hits Volume 2 - Reprise Records - FS-1034(Stereo - 1972) Here is a Very Nice Original Stereo Lp featuring Frank Sinatra and it should make a Fine addition to any Collection! Please check out our current Stock folks.... we have many more Lps along with a very nice selection of 78s, 45s, & Vintage Magazines. Also, please check our items often as we normally add something new every week. .com As very few of the 11 songs in this collection even made it onto the charts, the title of this record is something of a misnomer. This does, however, offer an intriguing snapshot of Sinatra's late-'60s/early-'70s career. While there's only one bona-fide classic in the bunch ("My Way"), you get interesting takes on contemporary pop numbers like Little Anthony's "Goin' Out of My Head" and George Harrison's "Something," along with samples from such perennially underrated albums as The September of My Years and Watertown. Hardly a definitive collection, but intermittently rewarding, just the same. --Dan Epstein

Frank Sinatra- A man alone
This cd contains 11 great songs by Sinatra. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Nice companion volume one
This is a worthwhile purchase forSinatra fans if obtainable cheaply. Like volume one, it is far too brief & the pamphlet is essentially worthless. However, it has several songs only available on much more expensive sets. These songs largely represent the end of Sinatra’s presence on the singles charts, but all are done with his standard excellence. Aggravating that both volumes could fit on a single cd. I have a two cd best of covering the Reprise years, but it omits almost all these songs.

Old Blue Eyes Never Dies!
Frank Sinatra was, without question, the greatest male vocalist of the 20th century and if they don't agree, you don't appreciate talent. I never get tired of "Stranger In The Night", "Summer Wind", "That's Life", "Softly As I Leave You' and "It Was A Very Good Year", I loved it when I was 10, 20, 30, 40, now 52, when I'm DEAD, I'll still love his stuff. Frank was HARDLY a saint, by any means, but what he did have was style, swagger and, when he wanted to, a certain charm that was irresistable. He was ONE OF A KIND, God Bless Him. Plus, his daughter Nancy was a fox! GET THIS CD NOW OR ELSE! Just kidding!

A Must Have!
GREAT CD. So glad I added it to my extensive Sinatra collection. A couple of songs on here that I have NEVER heard him sing before. Well worth the money and his rendition of "Something" on this cd is top notch.

Sinatra has never been beaten
What a voice, when he was young and even old.

Something Different, Something Good
Not your typical Sinatra. It's nice to hear some newer songs, songs not drawn from the Great American Songbook. (Although those are great too!)

Better than nothing
If you think you have never heard of some of these songs because the title is not familiar, that's because this collection has been (rightfully) forgotten. If you are an occasional Sinatra listener (shame on you, by the way) looking for a Sinatra collection because you do not want to invest a small fortune for original albums on CD, look elsewhere. There is only one essential song here, which is "My Way," which can be found on "Sinatra Reprise: The Very Good Years." The remaining ten songs are quite good, but would probably appeal only to his biggest fans. (Only a Sinatra fan would take his version of Kermit the Frog's "Bein' Green" seriously) If you are a Sinatra fan (congratulations, by the way), you will likely purchase the individual albums on CD. Whatever your category, there isn't really any reason to purchase this CD. It isn't digitally mastered and the running time is short, as if you need more reasons to not purchase this. Despite my preceding negative review, I must also say that it is better to have even an inferior Sinatra CD than no Sinatra CD at all.
