I rarely write reviews. Similar to most people, I usually write something if there is a problem. However, when I received an email from Maria & Ricardo's today about writing an HONEST product review, I couldn't stop myself. There are the best tortillas you can buy. Period. I discovered them at Whole Foods about a year ago and they are wonderful. When we get down to the last pack at home, we go into a worried frenzy. They taste like your grandmother made them. Still slightly undercooked/ doughy out of the package, you can either warm them up to become this wonderful pillowy burrito casing, or you can throw them over your burner, slightly char them and they taste right off the grill. I am sure homemade ones are better, but hey, I don't have that kind of time. Plus, when I use Maria and Ricardo's tortillas, it tastes homemade already. Why mess with greatness?

Finally a tortilla that is healthy, delicious and edible. I have tried countless tortillas that aren’t worth eating. Inevitably, most have unacceptable ingredients or aren’t worth eating. Maria and Ricardo’s have everything I’ve been looking for in a tortilla. Thanks for producing a great product!

I purchased these tortillas because they were rated as an outstanding product in a rating of tortillas (Washington Post I think). I had to order in larger volume than I wanted, as smaller quantity was out of stock, but proceeded due to rave reviews… The product was dry & didn’t meet expectations - freshness & quality big disappointment - I gave them away— 3 big packages

Nice and thin. Don’t break when rolled. Excellent flavor. What more could you ask for?

These tortillas tasted so bad I had to throw three full packages away. The tortillas are crumbly, the flavor is bad, and the tortillas didn't smell right either. Try another brand.

I read an article that listed this brand at the top of the list. They were expensive, in my humble opinion, but wanted to give them a try. I can't say I notice anything that sets these apart enough to make them worth the cost. Not bad, just too pricey.

Great tortillas! I think these have a mild, clean taste, are thin yet sturdy and flexible, and don’t leak. I like them much better than other tortillas that can be thick and get stuck to your teeth. These also have the added bonus of not having any preservative-like off taste. We used them for a taco party and they did not disappoint!
