When this first arrived, I was skeptical. It smelled rather strong, and very much like curry. Not that I don't like curry, but that wasn't what I was expecting. But I made (for the first time) a Georgian stewed chicken dish called chakhokhbili, and wow, this blend really made the whole dish! Doesn't taste too curry-like when it's actually being cooked with stuff. Would highly recommend.

I ordered this spice blend to make Georgian Eggplant rolls which this Eastern European recipe said was crucial .It was almost a disaster. The spice blend is tasteless, powdery, and probably very old. I had to throw out a batch of the stuffing because there was not only no flavor but the product rendered the walnut stuffing inedible. Thank goodness I improvised on the second batch by eliminating it entirely.The seller refuses to refund my money, So look elsewhere if you need this spice blend which from this supplier has given Georgian cooking a bad reputation .

Bottle is very poorly made, hard to use
