Love this bacon press!
Works great, the weight of the cast iron keeps bacon nice and flat and shortens cook time! It’s a little short so you have to cut your bacon, and if you keep it oiled it shouldn’t rust! I haven’t had any problems with it and plan to have it a long time!

Burger and Bacon Bliss!
The media could not be loaded. Hooray! No more lingering over the stove as I fight grease splatter to flatten out my bacon! My Mom had a vintage one that I foolishly sold after her death. I’m so glad to have this one now! Hers was round, while I prefer square for bacon and “Wendy’s-type” burgers. It flattens that bacon right out whether it’s thick or thin sliced! The thickness of the press itself is just enough to flatten food without becoming a weightlifter in the process. I highly recommend following the initial seasoning steps to ensure food won’t stick (my bacon didn’t stick at all!) and that rust won’t readily set in. SO important after each use to wash it (it’s very easy to clean without much effort), to thoroughly dry it with a towel, then air dry for a bit, then coat with oil or a thin layer of lard before storing away. It’s so easy to use and to store, so daily use isn’t a headache. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn’t come with a stand or tray to sit it on to cool down.

I've wanted one for a while. So excited!
The media could not be loaded. This bacon press looks very sturdy and well made. It has a wooden handle and is made of cast iron so I don't recommend you putting it in a sink full of water. The pig on the bottom is so cute. It feels hefty enough to press whatever I'm cooking. The price was the best I have run across over many media outlets.

Light, functional and economical
This bacon press is perfect. Long enough to make bacon lie flat and cook beautifully, but lightweight and simple to season and clean. A great value for the price, and very nice-looking. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a meat press. Good for burgers or steaks as well as bacon.

It works
This press was cast-iron and it works, but I think next time I get one it’s gonna be more solid without the design. But it’s worth the money.
