Will these kill squerrals????

Yes, they work well for squirrels, I don't know about "squerrals" they seem like a mythical creature only found in the Fire Swamps, Westley and Buttercup had to use a sword to kill the ones they encountered.

Has anyone used these for ground squirrels, and if so, any success?

We currently use these for chipmunks (ground squirrels). They work absolutely great. Set the trap and bait with black sunflower seeds. We've had to attach the traps to tent stakes to prevent larger animals from carrying off the trap.

Can you buy or get more removable bait cups?

I had one batch of traps whose bait cups broke the first or second time that each trap snapped (specifically the tabs at the bottom are what failed). I emailed the manufacturer, who mailed me a bag of 25 replacement cups. I haven't had any cups break in the past year, so I think that I just had one bad batch.

Is this an upgraded version of the tomcat secure-kill rat trap? the secure-kill works but it breaks after one rat.

I had no problems with the last version and like this version better for being able to remove the bait part. I'm getting mice, rats, and chipmunks. For me, it's lasted several kills before the trap needs replacing.
