Why did you pick this product vs others?:I would suggest this product 100%,. I have a large oak tree that has grown over my pool through the years and have been fighting the leaf battle for a very long time. This product works perfect, very easy to put on and off.

Yes!
So easy to use! Snaps in and out very easily and really works! Very sturdy construction. Only improvement I would suggest is to add something to the corners inside the net to keep it open. The net fabric is good quality but a bit stiff.

Best pool accesory I have ever bought!
This attaches inside the skimmer port on your pool. It can be used on either side depending on the direction of water flow in your pool. It catches all the leaves, bugs, and debris that doesn't make it into the skimmer. The device is great but required me to make two minor adjustments to fit my needs. It was a little too big to properly fit into the skimmer port. Using a hack saw I trimmed the plastic on the clamping pegs slightly. The unit had a bit of a sag to it where the far end would dip down below the water surface. This was easily fixed by screwing a white rubber appliance foot onto the bottom side for support. With those two minor modifications the Skim-eeze has made cleaning the pool SO much easier. I have left it on almost all time except when cleaning the Skim-eeze itself and when I hook up my automatic pool cleaner. It goes on and off without any problems. I am on the second season with this device and it has help up nicely. I recommend this to anyone who wants to make pool clean cleaning a bit less tedious. For modifications, you will need:1: A saw, cutting tool, or rotary blade to cut the end of the plastic clamping peg off. I removed about 1/4" from one peg to allow it to fit into my skimmer box properly.2. 1 rubber appliance bumper.3. 1 stainless steel screw

Do your research
My pool company recommended this since we’re doing a lot of ground construction around my property. It stated that it worked on above ground pools. So without thinking, I ordered it and tried to install it. It would not fit. My skimmer box is a quarter inch too small.

Cuts skimming time dramatically!
I just installed this today and I had a pool full of pedals from a pink crab tree. After leaving it in there for about 2 hours, I would say that nearly 80% of the pedals were caught in the net. To give you an idea on the amount of pedals floating around, it would fill up my filter basket in less than 2 hours! With the Skim-eeze attached, I had just a little debris that actually made it into the basket. The product was simple to install, but as another reviewer mentioned, it didn't quite fit into the opening of the skimmer, so I had to cut the plastic pegs down a little, maybe 1" in total so that it would fit. I would say this is a one-size fits most, but an easy 5 minute fix assuming you have a hacksaw, jigsaw, or any type of saw that can cut plastic for that matter.I am only disappointed that I hadn't come across this product sooner! Highly recommended to any pool owner that gets a considerable amount of leaves and hates the daily grind of cleaning it manually. I would probably agree that this might not be well suited for in-ground pools as well as for circular above-ground pools. The only reason that I say this, is that I've noticed that with my pump running, the water spins in a circle around the edge of the pool from the water return jet which creates a nice path for the debris to flow right into the net. If you had a pool where you didn't have such a current, I can't speak to how well this product would work.
