This will be my second review in 12 years of Amazon purchases. I absolutely love this mask and felt I should pass on some information that might help others. I have a hole in my ear drum that, despite 4 surgeries and lots of time out of the water, will not close or re-appears. This mask is my ticket back in the water (freediving/ spearfishing). My set up: Aquaphore on the hair around my ears to help seal (as I do around my mouth when inhave a beard). I wear a vented ear plug for redundancy in my affected ear.I carefully put on the mask, making sure I don’t over stretch the vent tubes. I check the ear cup masks to ensure they are flat on my head and not caught on my hood. Once I do all that I have no leaks and can enjoy ocean once again.I still need to equalize using a traditional method, but the mask does help make that a little easier. Also, without equalizing, I can get a few extra feet before I feel the pressure in my ears (this isn’t recommended, equalize early and often). I can’t talk to scuba depth, but I have used this mask down to 30 feet.In short, if you get ear infections often, don’t like your ear filling with water, or have to keep water out of your ear for any other reason I highly recommend this mask! After a few uses you get the hang of the setup and it is very easy.

Completely unsatisfied and totally disappointed with the item. I do not what to say. Water was leaking it after tightening it a bit. I tried diving to 10 feet first day was moderate, but today when I went to my school's pool again to check and test it out, I do not know what happened, because when it came it looked used to me, looked like someone used it as I saw a bit of tiny scratches here and there and thought I should at least give it a try. Because its supposed to keep water out of the ears and helps in equalizing the pressure, I don't know how well that works, I even cut my side hair just to check again to see if water leaks in, but I think it was too much. TOTALLY disappointed for an item like this. i ordered quickly as I will be going to do scuba diving next month and have problems with my ears, so I thought of giving it a try, but I will just throw it away.

My goggles came in quickly and in a small carrying pouch for the goggles that I wasn't expecting, it also came with a neoprene head strap as well, I also didn't realize that came with it as well. So 2 small little surprises. I haven't used them yet but the feel and fit perfectly.Edit. I have used them continuously since last year. The ear covers work perfectly!

Works just fine for me. After two dives I feel comfortable because my ear is dry and equalizes easily. Much less often need to valsalva. Clearing the mask of water leakage works and there is no leakage into the ear covers (follow instructions given)With higher ambient pressure the material sticks to the skin. I recommend creating a small vacuum at surface to seal the airspace and slowly exhale through the nose while descending. The excess equalizer air will vent from the ear covers.There is a big change in sound perception however, independent of nose or mouth exhalation. Maybe I’ll update after a couple of more dives.

On the first trip with these goggles they broke while taking them off. There are 2 tubes connected to the front of the mask and held in place by a flimsy plastic nut. Sadly one of the nuts broke while taking the goggles off - I think it was my 3rd dive with them. When I reached out to IST they told me to send a picture and copy of the invoice which I did expecting them to either replace the goggles or supply a replacement nut. Instead, the IST customer service people told me I need to BUY a replacement nut for $1 but also pay $11 for shipping - unbelievable! I would not recommend these googles as I have to believe I am not the only one to experience this defect. This is no reflection on the retailer who I bought them from on Amazon - just IST's quality and customer service.

You wont be the cool kid on the block wearing these, but they will help your ears equalize. Im a new diver and had several issues equalizing during my training so I decided to find alternatives to the traditional scuba mask. These worked perfectly and made equalizing quick and simple. I had no leaks and the mask fit comfortably. I will be using these on future dives.
