Quality fitting that works well.
Corsair fittings are made buy the same people who make Bitspower fittings, so are well made. If you exercise the tap you will notice a click/jolt as it locks into the fully closed position. This is why you have to hold the valve with one hand and crack it open with the other when it is fitted in a rig to stop it putting pressure on the other fittings. It comes with female threads on both ends, so a male to male adaptor is usually required to connect it to a 'T' fitting or radiator drain port. A port blanking fitting is also required to seal the open end of the valve incase it does ever decide to leak.

Perfect
Perfect fit and great quality. I read some said theirs was leaking a little, I did notice the valve has a notch it seals on when closing. This can need a firm turn to engage it. But mine was totally water tight when shut.

As many mention, it leaks
Updated: I spoke to Corsair and there were 2 issues, not resulting from the product.... I was using it wrong.1/ The valve MUST be used with an end cap.2/ I wasn't fully closing the valve. It has to be shut fully 90 degrees (with surprising force needed) to deal. With these things corrected it work just fine. I was wrong....Original review: Brand new fitted to new tubing it leaks slowly. 100% not fit for purpose. Ive asked Corsair to comment but clearly not up to the job of controlling the sealing of a custom loop.Either QC is poor or the part is fundamentally flawed.

Not very water tight.
It keep the coolant in right up until I powered up the pumps. It was only a slow trickle but it was still a leak.Simple solution was just screw in a blank port/seal.

Leaks
To install this you need extra connecters. I had to use two hard-line connecters and a piece of tube.It also leaks. Only drips but over time it will build up. So I had to buy a Fill port and then only used a small coin cap from it. I'm not sure what a fill port is for.Now the drain port on my loop has cost over £50 with all the Corsair parts that don't fit unless you buy other Corsair parts that are very expensive for what you get. Would probably go with another brand if I where to do it again

Nice quality / feel but does let by
Usual corsair quality feeling part, its not exactly light etc but it will drip slowly if you dont fit a cap to it, which is a bit anoying.Corsair really needs to make a tap that doesnt let by
