I ordered this in November 2019. It’s been my favorite spatula since then (the narrower one particularly. The wide one is great for specific jobs as well, but the narrow one works great). After 5 years or so, the narrow one started to have a spot on the corner where the silicone had split and the metal underneath was a little exposed - hardly though. Mostly to water when I washed it. Because of that, after several months, I noticed a little rust on the inside on the metal. I contacted the company because of their lifetime guarantee and they promptly sent me a brand new one - same exact item. So pleased! I’m excited to have my favorite spatula in brand new condition yet again.

I cook with cast iron a lot, and have accidentally melted or really degraded some of my silicone & plastic utensils. After using this for a couple hours on a high heat iron griddle, no signs of melt, degradation, “shedding” or anything else. I’m delighted. I was skeptical at first- I’ve never heard of the brand, it’s coming from China just like everything else, and my prior ones were a good/trusted & oft recommended brand. But so far, they appear to be the real deal.

After a few years of using the spatula, the rubber cracked and the metal spatula part started to show. This could scratch the pan, but also be a spot where bacteria could grow. I contacted Di Oro and let them know what happened, sent pictures, and provided my order number. They got back to me right away, were very friendly, and replaced my spatula for free, shipping included! I will only buy this brand going forward.

I should have gotten these much sooner. I have always used the cheapest available.these have flexibility in the tip which comes in handy, easier to clean surface, and better heat resistance.

Large spatula too wide for me

I honestly don't know which of these turners I like the best, though I find myself reaching for the wider one more often (and it IS wide). From pancakes, to potato cakes, to turning over two frying eggs at once (I'm not an acrobatic, short order cook), it has quickly become my go-to at breakfast time. Solid, comfortable handles on both these babies, I use the narrow one for more gentle sautees and smaller portions. Easy to clean (I hand wash). How wonderful to have some quality cooking utensils, I threw out the burning plastic junk from the dollar store.

I've replaced all my cooking utensils with Di Oro. I'm extremely satisfied. The only thing is if you live somewhere with hard water, it will leave spots. It bothers me, but their products are excellent so I won't be changing because of that.

I like the rated temp, warranty, and features. Girlfriend cooked some eggs on med-high heat (I would guess maybe 300?). She then turned the gas off and laid the spatchula on the pan. Pictures show what happened in 5 minutes. Maybe the 500 is instantaneous and not sustained?Don't know if I'll get this brand as 2 of 3 features I like about this brand did not hold true.
