Spy TecSTI_GL300 Mini Portable Real Time GPS Tracker

First off, this is a good looking sleek black device. Now, the unit itself also perform well, I was unsure how it would work it’s an item I had never used before. However, the website was very easy to use and follow. I am more than happy with the the devices abilities then I thought I was going to be. With the website easy to use friendly layout, and having nothing to do with the unit besides charging it. It was a breeze.You can also use mobile phone to track the gps unit, and I had set up a geofence alert to send me an email every time my staff took the company vehicle. There is also a button that you press to on the device that would automatically send me an email, pretty cool, found that one out by mistakeI have found no fault with this GPS at all, so they deserve a 5 star rating. I received this GPS and I was up and tracking within 5 minutes the unit already had a 50% charge. Nice

There are a lot of thing I can say as to why I love this little device. I was blown away. In reading the other reviews I help me make my decision and it was well worth it.I loved the size, the fact that it was small I was able to hide it under the floor mat on the passenger side of the car, it makes no noise so that location was spot on.It’s a global device and when my friend went to Germany on Holiday he was able to use it and then when I went to visit family in Canada it work as well and my monthly rate didn’t change just the update rate which was understandable being that the company is across the pond in the U.SI had some issues with dead zones in my rural parts of Canada. I am sure that in a more populated area this device would be excellent though since several reviewers had that experience and I had no issues where I had full service cell towers in the area.The best feature was the real time tracking. Being able to watch and the marker would move. And the alerts when the battery was low… almost like a phone, pretty cool.

Discomfiture. Devices are very good. I've bought ten devices GL300 from this company and only one of these doesn't work correct. And now I still wait to contact and on reclamation's number until September 2016!!!!

This is an extremely good gps device, I have tested out 4 different companies that use the GL300 model on their tracking platform and this is my favorite. Being that I own a private car service we are always looking for better ways to do business, and it is head and shoulders above the others that I have tested. This seems to be due to trackers performance its self and the customer service. The customer service people I dealt with knew exactly what I needed for my business and helped me understand how to do it. The only negative was there isn’t an app, just a mobile site which works fine.

Firstly, I wanted to explain the 4 star rating, as I think this is a very good product that was easy to install and functions very well. The reason for the deduction is only related to Activation. Had a bit of an issue with the website, Had to call customer service twice and they were able to help me, but still a bit of a bit of a hassle for me at least.Out of the box, the GL300 was very easy to install, I put it into a magnetic case and under my car in under 1 minute. So useful, as you have to ensure that our kids drive according to our rules.I then went to my pc to monitor her driving... pretty much sign in and watch. The last thing was setting up the “geofence” again I had to call customer service, and again they helped me set it up. Great customer service.One thing I do like about GL300 no contract, I just wanted to make sure she drives responsible as she is a new driver.

Got this for a great price from Amazon Prime. And was easy to set up.the device came with a magnetic case from a 3rd party they worked well together, wish the magnetics were stronger was a little unsure about them, but they held up and so did the GL300. Every happy, know where my car and my man are at all times.

Generally good, except:It's pretty pricy.Need data plan, which is expensive. by default only tracks in USA- you need to contact support for global roaming to use elsewhere, but noextra price.Instructions are a bit rubbish, but I worked it out in the end.I didn't buy the magnetic car, so left the device in the door of my car. The device wasn't always able to connect to gps satellite.There seems is no indication of what time zone times are recorded in... It appeared to be 8 hours behind GMT, couldn't find any way of changing to local time zone. (Although, tbf, I found out what I needed before I got round to asking support)Charger is U.S. plug, but the device charges with old, larger style usb, I had one kicking around, so not a prob for me.

Best thing ever. You do have to pay £20 a month for use which it didn’t say. Battery last like 3 weeks, app is good and easy, also an online team that will answer any problems straight away
