It was the listing, not the cheese!

The cheese is outstanding! Excellent flavour, moisture, and grain. My only gripe is that the Amazon ad' mislead me as the the size of the piece. It appeared to be a major bargain, but turned out to be about what I expect from most sources (somewhat above my budget).

NOT PECORINO ROMANO

We use a lot of Pecorino Romano cheese in recipes for meals and entertaining. Quality of this product was NOT there though and was not able to be used. We had to get it elsewhere and after waiting a long long time to receive.Terrible with mold on it when arrived. I don't think this was pecorino romano at all. Had what appeared to be a thick coat of wax all over it. We didn't bother to taste it as we were fearful it would make us sick. There was some sort of oily run off in the package which I assume was some sort of deterioration.I've ordered Pec Romano on Amazon before and got good quality from other sellers. This was not it.
