Would the moon lamp be appropriate for a young child or if shaken or dropped would it break easily?

It's a good gift for a child, because of the shatterproof shell, the childrens can even use the moon lamp as a ball to play. and you can use a remote or tapping the moon(the best way) to change the colours.

I cant seem to turn mine off with the remote it just changes colour to green each time?

Try tipping the button slightly lighter or wiggle a bit with your finger. If you touch the globe itself it goes through the colours and turns off after you touch a few times....

Bought this from you in June the battery does not stay charged its rubbish

Do you leave the plug on charger. Mine charges up and switches itself off when full.
